Top 5 Signature Redemptions

Collectables lose value all the time especially if there is no one left to collect them. I'm sure Lance Armstrong collectors can attest to that! Lol.

Sorry all - still off topic.;)

There's the issue. If the greedy card companies keep shutting out the average collector in the search for the almighty dollar there ain't gonna be anyone left in the hobby in a decade. They will shut people out.

Back on topic though. .....

Everyone mentions the 2008 Beetson. Why does the 2005 Benetton Sig not get similar love?

I'm sure the 05 goes for a good price too, but it's just the prestige of the 08 set, and it being the Immortal sig ... also I think those things were harder to hit, going by the odds (even if there were the same amount released) - could be wrong though.

The Lockyer number one is a bit of a manufactured value, if Select suddenly decided to release all the number ones for sale tomorrow, it's value would plummet.

There will always be collectors for as long as people are around. Collecting is like playing with the share market collectable values will fluctuate but it is certain no matter what you collect it will go up over many years. I bet stuff people had of ned kelly was worth nothing when he was killed he was a cheat and criminal and look at what his stuff is worth now. I think you have to open your thinking owen and stop being so negative. I very rarely read good remarks from you.

LOL - get off your high horse Moz. Everyone in here is entitled to an opinion even if it does not agree with yours (or mine for that matter).

Now for the third time please move on and stop hijacking this thread!!!!

dont know if its me just losing interest in cards or... if this site just isnt as good as it used to be

I think everyone needs to bust a few boxes to relieve some stress around here.

Also, just curious- how many of those Panthers sig cards in your top 5 do you have?
