Obviously the seller had no idea.

But where do you draw the line at ethical and not ripping someone off? Nothing wrong with throwing a cheeky bid but at $100 that guy was just out to rip the seller off.

At the end of the day, We are collectors and most of us want to get our cards for as cheap as possible. Even if looking for a quick flip most of it goes back into cards.
