Top 5 Signature Redemptions

me me me I I I. You like to rub the nose of a dogs in its own s**t to becuase you can Just to make you feel better small mind

Your funny Moz. At least im big enough not to throw the petty insults back.

The seller has broken ebay rules by ending the auction, most likely in an effort to avoid FVF, and cost themselves hundreds in the process. Sucked in to them.

Like i have said to you before Moz, im as entitled to my opinion as you are. No reason to get personal with the insults.

I was out of line I do apologize. But know you know how the seller must feel when they are getting this feedback from people. You are not stupid and know your stuff and I do commend you for that and read what knowledge you have which I find informative but have a heart.

I take your point Moz and look I was not an ahole about it but the message was really just telling the seller that they had been taken advantage of.

Sometimes people learn the hard way unfortunately.

what the fuck.... I think that is wrong when someone offers outside of Ebay , and to send the seller a message saying they got ripped off is even worse .... Not good ....

What's the problem with telling someone they have been wronged?

If you watched someone get pick pocketed in the street would you not say something?

I agree with you and as much I dont like ebay fees myself if the seller is happy and the buyer is happy itis all good. I dont agree with sellers removing there listings and buyers taking advantage of people but it does happen unfortunately. I feel for the seller myself but not my place not my place to tell them what they should do with there cards. Once again I wish I could retract what I said but was getting a bit emotional and passionate for the seller

Mate , all i am saying is that it is not good for other collectors to offer top dollar outside of Ebay to try and snap up a bargan before the auction ends , but then to receive a message from not the winning bidder about the item in which he was selling , saying that they got ripped off is not cool in my books as well.... If the original seller was happy with the $900AU it should have been left at that , even though i would have liked to see it end the right way by waiting for the auction to end....

All you blokes that are sending these links to this seller are just pissed that you did not get it by offering a better amount. I say sucked in. I am pissed as well I would have bid on it if I had saw it before this all happened. It does not mean that I will send emails and links for what the card is worth if someone had taken it off ebay you just make them feel worse for a reflection of your own jealousy. You know what cards are worth if you dont offer people a decent amount do not expect a seller to sell it to you for a tight arse offer or amount or get pissed off someone else who brought it. Grow up

Wow.......stepped out for a bit and missed the fun.

Just for your reference Moz my post in this thread to message the seller was not overly serious nor was it followed through on. I had absolutley no intention on bidding for this card, am not a tight arse and suffered no emotional breakdown that someone without any ethics ripped off the seller.

But IMO I still believe the seller should be made aware of the fact that some person has taken advantage of them unfairly, a quick message done in the right tone and manner I believe would be greatfully accepted, it may give them a chance to go back on the deal and get the money they need for Grandma's surgery.

One of my pets hates is the fact that some people take advantage of people, by making grossly undervalued low ball offers after someone has listed an item for auction., technically it is illegal and at best immoral.

It's like new members on here that post in their intro that they have old cards and then get bombed by people making low offers. If I see someone here way undervalueing their cards I'll PM them and give them an indication of their worth.....call it ethics / karma whatever

Yeah look I think there may have been a perception that myself and Hobo were just rubbing it in for fun.

I think it's more the usual suspects throwing around lowball offers at the unsuspecting that really gets on my nerves.

I agree with you as well on all aspects of what you are saying but as you have read the posts you must know where I am coming from

Yeah I do know where your coming from but your assumption that my post re: "should send a message to the seller" just to be spiteful and to say sucked into them wasn't my intention and hence why I replied at length. I fully understand that sometimes when reading flat text posts on here that the tone and underlying intent / meaning can be missed.

Any feeling I had was towards the leeches offering $100 for something they obviously knew was worth a small fortune.

It's all good I like a thread with a bit of passion as apposed to those that just say "bump"

He was never going to pay more than $80 for it {could have maybe won it for that if he didnt tell the world not many would have found it under that listing} but he didn't realize there is a lot more money to be made on that card than the measly $ 80 bucks

By the time I saw the auction it already had about 80 views and six days to run - it was never going to go for a low-ball figure. And making an around-the-back offer didn't occur to me - I thought once an auction had a bid it couldn't be killed.

And a "measly" $80? That's a week's wage in NZ, bro.

Is it just me? I think the only person who has done wrong in this whole situation is the seller.
Also if you have no idea what you have and get flooded with messages, common sense would say let it run.
I have got my fav pc piece through pulling the sneaky but i have only sent buy it now offers a handful of times.

Its funny Mick Ennis got a mention this morning because if you look at the listing im pretty that was him that threw in the cheeky $100 offer.
