Official 2013-14 NBA Regular Season Thread - SPOILERS!

Wiggins hasn't played a minute of NCAA basketball. A lot can change, this kid has too much unneeded expections on him

Yeah we could of said the same about every star since the start of time coming out of hs
A lot have survived high expectations

Sure he hasn't played a minute of NCAA , he is only playing NCAA because he has to . Wiggins would of been no 1 this year by a country mile if he was eligible , probably 3 high school players could have been taken in the lottery in the rules permitted .

So where to for LA and Mavs next year? LA will have crazy cap room at the end of next season with only Nash on the books. Mavs miss out on the big free agent again. Who will LA target to replace Dwight? Maybe chase Smith and play Pau in C and Smith at PF? Lakers also lost Clark to the Cavs which is another big loss.

Mavs might make a move for Bynum

I think he is just being pedantic isn't he?
Apparently the only confirmation of Howard going to Houston is that they have told all of the other teams he doesn't want to stay play there!
If that is the case, it's good enough for me! lol

Especially when 4hrs later he tweets

@dmorey: Welcome to Houston @DwightHoward!!! Years of work by Dwight & Rockets went into this. This team is going to be special.

Lakers cap space really depends on how much they are gonna pay Kobe , Kobe doesn't come across
Like a guy that would take a pay cut he thinks he is the Lakers ,

Cuban is dallas's problem , that's why they don't get free agents

I dont think Kobe will wanna finish his career surrounded by scrubs so i think he will work with the team $$ wise

Why do you say Cuban is the problem?
If I was an nba player I'd love to play for him. Smart dude.

Is it location? Lack of franchise history or aura?

I personally don't have a problem with Cuban its just the way I see it , he does have a big mouth that hurts
Him more often then not , owners need to do the things behind the scene not be the teams centre of attention
Dan gilbert in Cleveland is the same he'll struggle to attract big fa's swell coz he's too outspoken

Personally if I was a player I would want my owner to be like mark Cuban, having a lot to do with the club and coming to every home game. As oppose to owners like the hornets old owners who never were around and only seemed to run the club to earn money.

In saying that a big reason why DWill didn't sign with them was cause Cuban missed the meeting with him cause he was filming a TV show (Shark Tank I think) haha

I'm shocked at Dwight but it is a great move for him. Not sure if they'll get close to a title though.

I'm also surprised Mayo wants to go to Milwaukee, that says to me that he just wants to be paid and doesn't care about winning.

Could the Lakers give Bynum another go?

Or could J. Smith be hunted by L.A?

Loving this off-season though.

I like what the Jazz have done. I don't think they'll bottom out, that's not their style at all. Favors will go off this season.

So happy with the Cavs signing Jarrett Jack!! Perfect fit, we needed a back up to Kyrie and we got one of the best back up guards in the league!! Our roster is shaping up pretty well now...

PG- Kyrie/Jack/Gibson
SG-Waiters/Miles/Karasev/Felix
SF-Clark/Bennett/Gee/Felix
PF-TT/Bennett
C-Varejoe/Zeller/TT

And I'm hoping Ellington return to Cleveland but I don't think he will. Chris Grant and Dan Gilbert are looking for players who can play multiply positions to cause match up problems for the other teams. It's working pretty well because we're putting together a pretty good roster.

Josh smith signs with the pistons, poor Andre Drummond may lose some time, unless smith plays SF. Unluck if you just 'invested' in a Drummond silhouette!!

Carl Landry signed with the Kings

Jeff Pendergraph agrees to 2 years with the Spurs! This guy has haunted by box breaks for years and now he is a Spur! lol
