Couldn't agree more. The lack of auto content of both active and retired players is mind boggling. It's almost a blank canvas imo. I get that those who have highly desirable autos would not want anymore of them made but I think the hobby will grow along with the game itself and surely we can have some more Meninga, Lewis, Johns, ( add in another 20 names) autos.
And many great players that have no autos.
I'd love to see autos of Meninga and Lewis maybe wearing their Souths, Valleys/Wynnum Manly jerseys? They're not young anymore. Thankfully there are some licensed autos of Arthur Beetson. But no licensed autos of Raudonikis( at least none I'm aware of) is a real shame. So many cards that need to be made before they can never be made.
There should be an auto in every hobby box and one legend auto per case.
