Just checked blood diamond..

pretty good movie.. missed at the theatre.. i am happy that i have seen it now.. well-constructed script and casts....

9/10 for me..

just checked "300", good movie...

but didn't feel so much involved in the script.... but art directions and cinematography is pretty awesome.. especially taking the shots of arrows, spears and weapons.. worth the money, i'd say..
 
Watched school for scoundrals - 8.5/10

Loved it, very funny. Some good actors in this one.

Rocky - 6.5/10

Thought it ws very slow, and only about 10 mins of fighting in the movie. Wouldnt reccomend.

From Hell - 8/10

Made in 2001 but hired it as a weekly, loved it. Its about Jack the Ripper and stars Johnny Depp. Good movie.
 
Watched 300 and the new TMNT movie! Both great and definately would recomend, but damn is Transformers going to be good! :shock:

Bloody brilliant movie about how the world would be if woman couldnt have babies anymore. The effects and filming of this movie is something yet to be done and it blows you away. Clive Owen is the main actor and does a fantastic job.!! Highly recommended =D>

so so true hey johnno, id give it a 10/10, just watched it on saturday night and was blown away. one of the best movies ive seen in the past year. cinematography, acting, just everything about this movie is so well done.

*spoiler* when theyre walking through that warzone at the end, i was on the edge of my seat, that was one of the best action sequences ive ever seen, and im pretty sure it was done in one long continuous shot that goes for 10 minutes or so. the director alfonso cuaron (sp?) is a real genius, cant believe thats the same guy who did the harry potter movie!

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!! =D>
 
yer damm staright that war zone scene at the end i rate just as highly as some of the war scenes in Saving Private Ryan. Amazing i was the edge of my seat too and perplexed at how something that great can be done and caught on film.
Yer id have to give it 10/10 too.
I love the flaming car rolling down the hill bit too!!!
 
Watched "Disturbia" at the movies today and i was impressed for a movie with no real notable actors found in very enjoyable. I gave it 9/10 i loved it.

I reccomend you all go see it if ya havnt already :)
 
i went a saw wild hogs yesterday. pretty funny movie. lots of laughs and i enjoyed it very much.

ive recognized 1 actor from disturbia. i havnt seen the movie but in the tralier, the guy who spys on the neighbor, hes been in a movie called holes and a couple more i cant remember.
 
Finally saw Nacho Libre with Jack Black....it was excellent. It's directed by the same guy who did Napoleon Dynamite....so it may not be everyone's taste. Great story and some excellent wrestling action (lookout for Satan's Cavemen!!!)

Finally got around to seeing HOSTEL...and i must say, it was the most intense horror movie i have seen in a long time!!! for any horror fans that havent seen it yet, go see it!!! 9/10!
 
TMNT biggest waste of $11.50 ever.

Just when it was finally doin something it ended.

and man Michaelangelo never said "Cowabunga dude" once...

disappointed :(

saw " Shooter " starring Mark Wahlberg.

Excellent movie, good climax, very good storyline, very captivating!

Rated MA15+, reccommend it to anyone who enjoys a conspiracy plot and lots of action!!
 
Watched "the Departed" last night on DVD and i liked it. Only bit i didnt like was Mark Wahlberg or whatever his name is.... that dudes swearing was really starting to annoy me!!

Neverless a great movie with twists and turns 7.5/10
 
went to the flicks again the other night and saw Jim Careys new one Number 23.

Wasnt too bad, little hard to follow but yeh turned out pretty clever.

I saw that recently as well. I thought it was quite good, quite entertaining at the start before the twists begin. Like Kyle said, do yourself a favour and check it out.

I found it very disconcerting being born in 1985... if you seen the movie you will know what im talking about
