Latest Movie/DVD you've seen, and what would you rate it...

I watched Saw 3 last night. (To me) it's kinda lame and the first will always be the best/most original. This one almost has you feeling bad for Jigsaw  Cool deaths though..

Watched Grudge 2 last night, the mrs had her fingers in her ears and eyes shut for 3/4's of it. Pretty good movie, explains a few things from the first. Scary without being gory, recomend it.

saw 3, was okay could have been better but could have been a lot worse for being the 3rd installment on the series, I will get the dvd

watched "when a stranger calls" i personally thought it was a pretty good movie, ive heard people say it was shit but i liked it. :)

3.5/5

Also watched Cry Wolf, if ayone wants to see a Cruel Intentions like movie then hire this, its a great movie was a fan.

5/5

LOVED IT

Watched Tokyo Drift (3rd instalment for the Fast & Furious movies), thought it was ok, still think they need to concentrate just a LITTLE more on the actual cars, but the movie & story was pretty decent.
3/5

Going to see Saw 3 today. And have The Departed, Grudge 2 & The Marine (WWE's John Cena) to watch at some stage.

Grandmas Boy 10/10
Funniest movie since Old Skool! Its a movie of all the guys behind Adam Sandler in all his films, the funny guys. Its about these guys working for a gaming company, and they smoke pot all the time. Nick Swarsten or however you spell his name is the funniest guy ever lol. If you like comedy a must rent out.

Saw 3 2/10

I thought this movie was disturbing, Saw 1 and 2 were much easier to handle, but this 3rd installment was disgusting to the point i was close to yaking. The chain game at the start, the brain removal :smt078 and the 360 rotaing of all the limbs and head were the most disgusting things ive ever seen lol. I though the story line was lame too. Gave it a 2 only becuz i love the guy behind the saw dolls voice, it cracks me up he was also in season 2, 24.

Me go see Jackass 2.

Me laugh a lot out loud.

Me like to do some of the stuff.

Me told not to at the start and end of movie though.

Me like very much

Me think you should see it too

:-D

Borat!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hilarious and those yanks, no words can describe them! 5/5

Also watched Cry Wolf, if ayone wants to see a Cruel Intentions like movie then hire this, its a great movie was a fan.

Totally agree, I saw it a few months ago and liked it also, cool movie.

Grandmas Boy 10/10

My mate told me about this one, he absolutely loved it, thought it was hilarious, I'll be renting it this weekend!

Watched Hoop Dreams finally a few weeks ago, do yourself a favour and see it. Takes me back to the mid 90's when I first loved the game!

How good is Casino Royale?! I watched it twice while I was away and need/want to see it again. Daniel Craig makes an excellent Bond IMO. There's a few technicalities that may distract a true Bond fan like myself and after the last couple of installments I had really fallen off the Bondwagon but overall, this movie is awesome. 4/5.

for xmas i got married with children 6th season,

hostel (already took back)
and
underworld, evolution (never seen it but probaly taking it back)

- 16 Blocks - (Bruce Willis, Mos Def)
Pretty good movie in my opinion, great story which reveals itself as the movie flows, then ties in near the end. Some nice action and a bit of a tear jerker right at the end (oohhhhwwww).
Detective Jack Mosley (Willis) is unwittingly given the task of transporting a petty crim (Def) 16 blocks to a courthouse hearing. A quick "roadie" stop at the local liquer store kicks this movie into action! This is where the story starts flowing. I don't want to give anything away so go see it, you won't be disappointed.

- Miami Vice - (Colin Farrell, Jamie Foxx)
Another great action movie that for me was a little hard to follow in the beginning. It's all about drugs, undercover ops and Miami baby! This is the Exquisite Collection of movie scenery. Ferraris, mansions, high-tech gadgetry galore.
This Michael Mann movie is superb (Mann did Heat and Collateral, 2 awesome movies). It's not a run-of-the-mill action/cop/drama movie. There's lots of things going on that aren't expected which diversifies it from the rest. Ricardo Tubbs (Foxx) and Sonny Crockett (Farrell) are Miami's finest. They are called upon to go undercover after an informant goes bad. As they delve deeper, they are in new ground never before walked by a "Badge". Sonny then gets romantically involved which almost makes you forget who they really are as they appear to push the boundaries.
Again, don't want to give anything away, it's a great movie, 2 in one hit for me! This was one I was looking forward to seeing ever since it was released. It has a weird feeling to it through most parts as well. Certainly a different movie experience for me.

I'd like to hear what others think of these 2 as well.

Tonight I watched "The World's Fastest Indian" which stars Anthony Hopkins. It is a true story that was set in the late 1960s of a man named Burt Munro....it is a motorbike movie where Burt sets out to break the land speed record....i gave it 4 1/2 out of 5. Anthony Hopkins did a great job in this 1, a must see for those who like true stories

Watched "Night at the Musuem" the other night wasnt too bad. Had some funny moments, i suggest ya go see it, its worth the money!!!

3.5/5

Recently I was given a copy of SNakes on a Plane to watch - I have to say that movie has got to be THE movie with absolutely no point to it ever! Gaping plot holes... was only enjoyable for the fact snakes were biting people in strange and painful places lol

1 star - being kind.

"The Whole Nine Yards" and "Catch Me if You Can".

I know I'm late! These 2 movies are quite good.. especially CMIYC. 9 out of 10.

I watched "Coach Carter" last night. I found this to be a great movie to watch with the missus. It had the basketball for me, but it also had the meaningful storyline that she enjoyed following.

I would give it 4/5.

Cheers
Rick
