Latest Movie/DVD you've seen, and what would you rate it...

I saw Sideways on DVD last night....great "sophisicated" road-trip/buddy/relationship movie. It stars Paul Giamatti (Cinderella Man, Man on the Moon etc) and Thomas Hayden-Church (Ned and Stacey) and follows them as they go on a week long Batchelor Party with a difference. If you like wine and well-defined characters in your movies, then this one could be for you!!

watched "The Skeleton Key" with Kate Hudson....very good movie, i cant give away the ending and stuff cause ill ruin the movie for ya before you see it...when you watch it it doesnt seem sence at times but it all adds up at the end. good thinking movie. 7 1/2 spuds out of 10
 
Watched Pirates 2 last night, great movie, maybe not as good as the first, awesome fight/battle scenes! 4/5 for me and cannot wait for the third to come out!
 
Watching Silent Hill right now and this is some ****ed up shit! Will get back with a thumbs up or thumbs down, can't tell yet!
 
Just watched 16 Blocks starring Bruce Willis.......Can't say I liked him as and old slow alcoholic cop but he pulled the part off and it wasn't a bad movie to watch - 7/10 :)
 
I got some movies

* alone in the dark - 2/10.. had to turn it off it was that bad
* having fun with dick and jane - 4/10 - had it's funny bits... a watchable 4
* march of the penguins - 9/10 - i loved this.. and i love penguins
* click - 10/10 - what a touching comedy.. that would have to be one of my fav sandler movies yet.. very funny.. very moving.. i really really enjoyed it

I liked it. I liked it better than what they did with the Resident Evil movies. Silent Hill is supposed to be disturbing and they got that..

I thought Click was lame. I don't want to see Adam Sandler being sappy, I want to see him go nuts. Christopher Walken was the best thing about it.

Yeah Iliked it in the head, but wasn't completely sure of the story because I never had the patience to play the game. Might start now though!

One strange bit was when Rosee had handcuffs on and keys to the door? I guess thats what I get when I get a bali copy that has some bits missing! ;)
 
Watched Cars last week and Over the Hedge today and neither was fantastic but Cars was a bit smarter and a fair bit funnier. Don't think I did much more than smile for Over The Hedge. 3/5 and 2.5/5 respectively...next is Hoodwinked! :D
 
watched the new Jet Li film "Fearless" last night and its a mixed bag.

Jet has stated this was his last martial arts film and hes gone all out to make some of the most jaw dropping fight scenes ever put on film. just awesome, they are easily some of the best fight scenes ive seen in the last decade. cinematography and the movie in general is beautiful.

but the story sucks balls, at least IMO (maybe the shocking subtitles had something to do with it) seen it all before though, pretty predictable stuff. dont let that put you off cos i guarantee you will shit yourself when you see the fight scenes in this.

We recently watched Ultraviolet. Was a great movie, a lot far-fetched, but would look better on the big screen.

Also we watched Dead Man's Chest again, still love it!
 
Hired "Domino" last week with Keira Knightly. Pretty good movie I thought. Has a bit of an all-star cast with some cameo's, but I'm not sure if it was widely shown at theatre's? All about L.A. bounty hunters, with some good "political" twists and turns. When I say political twists and turns, think Bush Government, lol.
