Latest Movie/DVD you've seen, and what would you rate it...

Jizzer, didnt you follow the storyline?
Played the Game mate?, it's 2 years after that. I caught on pretty well. But being a FF-aholic... lol.

Started to watch Silent Hill over the weekend, but couldnt get into it. Must have been the porr quality.

Saw one move tho, Hoodwinked. It's completely animated, not due out till August I hear. It's frickin hillarious!! Has stars voices like Xzibit, Andy Dick, and Anthony Anderson.

4/5 easily!!!

i followed the story fine mate, and yes ive thrashed the shit out of FF7 and am a huge fan, so maybe thats why it was disapointing.

Lovely choice of words, have to use that next time I'm asked about a game. lol.

I think 1 thing I was disappointed so much, was at the end of FFVII the game, there was a FMV that showed 1 year (I think it was 1) after the events, and everything was green, etc, etc, and then in the movie, everything was ruined...?

Bahamut was awesome aye!

The way he defeated it was dodge, them catapulting Cloud up to it.

But the showdwon with Kadaaj & Sephiroth was awesome!

if i remember correctly (its been about 5 years since i last picked up FF7) that last scene with Red XIII and his kids was like 50 or 100 years later???

most of the action scenes were awesome, all the graphics looked brilliant but i just didnt like the story that much.

i also watched final fantasy advent children, thought it was pretty good, i played the game heaps but not for a while so was hard to remember thing but overall i thought it was pretty damn good, the CG is amazing.

Is Advent Children out here yet? Sounds like the DVD might be if everyone seen it.

Oh and saw Dave Chappelle's Block Party! It was awesome, as a big fan of hip hop culture I was mesmerised through the whole thing. Dave does his thing while giving back to the community and the artists have substance (don't rap about bitches, money, ho's, bling [maybe Kanye]etc). Awesome finish with the Fugees making their first appearance in 10 years! Lauryn Hill has an amazing voice, Killing Me Softly at it's very best! All I can hope for when the DVD comes out is that they put the entire concert in! 5/5 hands down! :D

i DL'd FFAC about 6 months ago so i dunno, im pretty sure a R1 is out but dunno about R4. and ive heard heaps about block party, is it funny chappelle comedy or is it more just a concert movie, mostly music?

Both, Chappelle is very funny, but I think he is taking a back seat to the Music and the documentary, but there are heaps of funny bits with him interacting with the band and the crowd!

My father-in-law got back from China yesterday and brought with him the usual 50+ "legally manufactured" dvds. One of them was a bball movie called Glory Road, based roughly on the 65-66 West Texan Miners, a team which had the first all African American starting five and won the NCAA Championship that year.
It's a good movie, funny in places and confronts alot of racial stuff as expected and the ball scenes are sweet.
4 outta 5 :D

Underworld: Evoloution
bloody awesome ,loved it, i mean ive seen heaps of vamp movies but this was brilliant, great action scenes wow, and even though i dont swing that wayi gotta say kate beckinsale looks pretty damn good in all that leather, and scott speedman was just yummy to

The Da Vinci Code

Yeah so i went today, gold class and all.
i read the book it loved the book as a fictional read. then the movie really did let it all down as the critics said. They missed lots of stuff that put the book together and so on.
Im a christian and i dont think that movie would influence anyones views on the church. The book however would.

anyone else seen it.

We watched Fiddy Cent's movie last night.

Was quite enjoyable actually. I thought it would be just like 8 Mile. I was right, and I was wrong. hard to explain.

But it's sposed to be all about 50 and his life into the Rap World. It wasnt like 8 Mile in the way that it had Eminem as an adult all the way thru it, it had 50 as a kid growing up selling drugs, etc.

Recommend it, 4/5

Benchwarmers: 2 1/2 outta 5 it was okay, funny in places, and involved sport.... but hehe hard to rate... for some reason felt was missing something.... such a predictable storyline.... was waiting for it.... so yeah.... funny in parts but not a must see....

I saw Saved last night.... very much making fun of the Christian religion I think, was amusing to some extent... but it had Mandy Moore in it so eww no 1 outta 5.

Surprisingly MaCauley Culkin didn't put me off... his best acting job to date as a wheel chair bound guy...
