Latest Movie/DVD you've seen, and what would you rate it...

Cant wait for X-Men 3..... CANT WAIT....

Also just watched Inside Man...not too bad at all!
Date Movie was terrible!

And Through the FIRE.... 10/10... loved it!!
 
went and watched the Davinci Code.

Tom Hanks was good and the chick in it is pretty hot too.

Went for 2 and 1/2 and was really tired so i didnt get all the story, but overall pretty good.

3.5/5!!
 
Yeah, also saw the DaVinci Code on Tuesday night. There was some truth about religion's there (& their history), although there was a lot of inaccuracies, but to me it was the whole issue of 'What if...'.

Great story line and enjoyable work of fiction.

I saw the Year of the Yao today
It is quite a good documentary on the life and changes poor Yao had to make in changing from two completly cultures. Follows Yao from Draft Day til the end of his 1st season with the rockets. Francis and Mobley are quite funny and seem like cool cats and Yao is humerous aswell. I like Yao's Interpreter Colin i think that's his name, he is a really cool bloke and would be living the life getting payed millions, living with yao and travelling all over the US and even to China.

Wifey and I finished watching season 5 of Scrubs. This is probably the one show that gets funnier and funnier every season. I love it.
 
me and my hubby just watches "green street hooligans" though it was really good , its all about the poms and their football culture, apparently for each soccer team there is ,there is a group of guys kinda like a gang that go up against the other teams gang, in a full on rumble its all about gaining respect for being the toughest, the film is centered around the west ham gang and this american guy that travels to england after getting thrown out of harvard
its got elijah wood and charlie hunnam in it,

My dad was actually mates with several of the real life west ham hooligans back in the old days (the name of their gang is on the tip of my tongue) as he was a devoted hammers fan when he was living there before he came over. he used to join them at the pub before matches and share a few pints and sing "Im forever blowing bubbles" with them. he never got involved with the fighting although he witnessed plenty of it.

nah, thats just the made up name for the fictitious gang in the movie...ill have to ask the old boy next time i see him what they were called.
 
Watched Hostel last night.

About as sick but WITH the visual that Saw, Saw 2, and other psyco thriller/killer movies didnt have. This movie was short (about an hour 20), the brutal scenes were just that, brutal, displayed the lot.

Coming from the minds of Eli Roth (Cabin Fever, Kill Bill) and Quinten Tarantino (Kill Bill, Dusk Till Dawn, etc) you'd expect that.

I'd say it was a 3.5/5. Maybe a 4 cos of the titty scenes. But nothing to get excited about. Slightly disappointing.
 
I watched Superman Returns last night. I didn't like it that much, the effects are very cool and as you probably know this one happens after the original Superman 2, so it's good to see the story updated after the previous movies. In all honesty I never liked the Superman character that much. I always preferred Batman. Which brings me to the best thing about the movie which was Kevin Spacey as Lex Luthor. Reminded me of the first Batman when Jack Nicholson as The Joker got more attention than the superhero. He's great.

i also saw superman and thought that it was great, i liked the subtle change supermans costume, and thought that the new superman was quite spunky even made blue lycra tights with red undies over the top look good, HAHAHAHA, but seriously thought the movie was good, yeah kevin spacey was great as Lex but also like parker poseys character aswell, cant remember her name in the movie , kitty or something , although gotta say i think they could have picked a better lois lane, kate bosworth is a quite a good actress but i dont think she fitted the roll of lois that well.... anyway
gave it 8/10
 
Watched Superman Returns today and thought it was great. Nice to see that the story stayed in line with the other ones. Effex are great... Kevin Spacey is also at his best...
 
We spent the weekend watching season 5 of Alias. Such an awesome show, so many twists and turns. It sucks that they're not making it anymore.
 
I watched click last weekend...it was actually pretty sad and touching towards the end, which is odd for an adam sandler movie...

I also watched a movie the other week on foxtel...it had scarlett johanson in it, cant remember what it was called. Anyways it was basically about this young guy who takes over as manager of a big business, starts dating scarlett, turns out shes the daughter of the dude he replaced...was good
 
watched "bloodrayne" the other day, wasnt bad ,although wasnt that great and i love vampire movies, and i have seen some really bad ones , the fight scenes werent very well done, liked the storyline,but the movie wasnt done well enough to live up to the story line and it had a pretty big cast too, ben kingsly, michael madsen, kristanna lokken, michelle rodriguez,
overall i gave it

went and watched Pirates of the Carribean II on Friday night. Went for 2 and 1/2 hours and was very awesome indeed. Keira Knightley you are one hot babe.

Johnny Depp is a sick actor, well done on another great performance. One of my fav actors.

i gave 4.5/5
