Latest Movie/DVD you've seen, and what would you rate it...

First Friday was awesome, still one of my all time faves. second was bloody awful, with the Latino Gangster story was just lame. third one was in between, not awesome, not crap.
Aliens is only slghtly better than Alien i think, the second one is just pure action/entertainment, the first is more a thinking mans sci fi, where Scott just builds the suspense slowly but still an amzing film.
the less said about Aliens 3 the better, what a way to take a successful franchise and turn it into shit! alien resurection was decent, better than 3 though by far.

No it's not boring!! It actually changes your mind about him. Through the fire is one of the best basketball films i have watched. Most people think he is an average player but when you watch this film .... changes your mind. Tells the whole story about making his transition from highschool to nba. His highschool team won 3 championships in a row and only lost one game since Telfair was a freshman!!

As i said originally there are a FEW exceptions, but very few. Terminator 3 is a classic example....bloody terrible. The part where arnie puts on the "dame edna star glasses" almost made me choke....
Bad Boys 2 is almost as good as the original, so is American Pie 2, but a lot of them are no where near!!!

terminator 3 should never ever have been made.. arnie was too old looking, and too many jokes where pulled
american pie 1,2+3 where pretty good
and i must say I liked alien 3.. alien resurection was terrible, i couldnt watch it..
alien vs predator was allright
aliens was fantastic.. that was around the time of the terminator and they started showing some excellent special effects
speaking of special effects, did anyone see the movies f.x and f.x 2 with brian brown? that was allright.. i liked those movies back in the day.. brien denehay was in one of them too...

house 3 = pretty good
house 4 = havent seen it..
or how about house party? theres some movies from the past

I think X-Men 2 was alot cooler than the first. It's better probably because they had gone through and set up characters, story etc in the first and could get down to business for the second, kind of like with Lost, season 2 so much better than season 1.

I just watched Mission Impossible III
It wasn't too bad, a bit of unbelievable stuff in there but it is called Mission Impossible (lol).
Some of the action scenes are prett cool
Anyways I give it a 8/10 and I look forward to watching The Da Vinci Code.

Im yet to see the first 2 Mission Impossible movies, but yesterday afternoon I saw Mission Impossible 3.
It was really interesting for me because I understood the storyline very easily without having to think hard about it.
I remember hearing a review of the movie earlier this week, and this dude said: "Oh I really loved the opening sequence" "What did you like about it?" "I can't remember".
That kind of turned me off the movie, and it was given a rating of 3/5.
After seeing the movie, I can now say the guy is a moron.
The opening sequence was fantastic. It's one of those points in the movie where you do not know what is going to happen after that moment. They have the full lead-up to that point, which I really enjoyed!
I would recommend it to anyone who likes action movies with a good storyline.
I'll give it 5/5 personally.

Ahhh I watched the Longest Yard again this morning (the recent version featuring Adam Sandler and Stone cold steeeeeeeeeeeeeeeve Austin....)
I love this movie.... then again I love virtually every sports movie I have seen.... but its funny, while also having some serious moments... would rate it like 6 1/2 outta 10 (I don't rate many movies above 7 lol)
