thats the thing though talking about being grateful for things to collect, so many people have sold up because a loss of interest in what esp have produced and how they have handled things.

Are you sure some people just don,t need the money as things are getting a bit harder for them to live at the moment

Not yet, but all's people seem to be doing is complaining about this and that. Getting really boring. Collectors should just be greatful that we even have NRL cards to collect.

I must admit I barely bother posting here anymore for this reason, every thread seems to turn into a colossal moan, usually about ESP. Or about whether you are selling your own cards to others or not, in some cases. :-/

Ok....well I was lucky enough to visit the ESP offices today regarding something very exciting that Ozcards will be doing very soon (stay tuned), and I was very lucky to see some images of the new Traders cards.

I promised Terry I would not to say too much but I can confirm that there will be a lot more value in this years release. There are a lot of similar themes from last year and a few new insert sets which i think looked good.

The sell sheet will be out on the 14th Feb.

Have to agree....while a specific set from last years traders isn't in the 2014 set, I really liked the cards I saw today. One set was supposed to be included last year but wasn't and is in this years set.

I think this years release will offer a lot of hits per box.

Yep, I remember the missing insert set last year...it really messed with the ratios.

Oh boy, Select AFL Champions....I think I'm seeing a huge difference here between companies reacting to collectors feedback. I'm not trying to pick sides but didn't we just read a collectors poll from Owen's mag that had 2013 AFL Champions voted the worst set....and now 2014 AFL Champions comes out near identical.
