ESP NRL Traders 2014 Thread - Checklist Added (Pg 18)!!!

Have to agree....while a specific set from last years traders isn't in the 2014 set, I really liked the cards I saw today. One set was supposed to be included last year but wasn't and is in this years set.

I think this years release will offer a lot of hits per box.

As in the Heritage Jerseys?

As for the hits per box - I'd just like them to be a bit more consistent - I seem to get the boxes without the hits, then watch others pull multiple from a box - great for them - sucks to be me. But they say luck averages itself out - I'd like to believe this.

If just one of the 2013 insert sets isn't returning, it would have to be the premiership winners' team shots (unless they start going back into the Winfield Cup era).

Which means we'll have a Chart Toppers set that shapes up like this:

Most Points: Maloney
Most Goals: Maloney
Most Tries: Simmons/Williams/McManus (that will be a squeeze)
Most line breaks: Taufua
Tackles: Kingston
Hitups/Runs: Fifita
Most Offloads: Parker
Most Minutes: ??? (hopefully they'll change this to try assists)
Most metres made: ???

Yeah I think premierships are gone.

Retirements? There were heaps last season and some pretty decent players so I think this set will be in. The 2013 Series retirements were easily the best looking card of the low end inserts.

I think young guns might not make it but I have heard one of the legends is Wally. In keeping up with the legends theme from 2013 (living immortals) then we could be looking at Langlands, Fulton or Gasnier.

Other inserts I think might be the heritage round jersey cards which didn't make last series, sketches (maybe caricature based for the kids), different levels of parallels (eg: a gold parallel that might be 1:18 or something).

Anyways seems like a bit in there, I am looking forward to it!

Sorry if this has been asked before but is anyone doing any case shares on the 2014 traders? If so let me know of details as I'll grab a few boxes :)

In regards to Winfield Cup era. Not likely, as (apparently) it comes under a different licence.

I had a look for some stats but found it hard to find any without having finals included. I think at a guess just looking at the stats for minutes and seeing highest of those that did and didn't make the finals - Jason Nightingale or Jamie Lyon. Metres made would more than likely go to Fifita and if try assists made it in it would go to Adam Reynolds.

Just a reminder that the sell sheet should be out tomorrow.

Once we have the info we will have it up here.

Expect lots of insert cards to chase!

Cheers
Matt
That's the best news I've heard regarding ESP releases. Value for $$$ and a deep set to chase.
