Yup, plenty from the #1s auction floating around since many seemed to go to investors instead of into collectors PCs shock, horror

You can't really make money by selling something after winning it in an auction. The collector's will have most likely already made their maximum bid in the auction and if you come in over the top of them to win and then try to sell it shortly after no one will buy because you have already crushed their maximum amount in the original auction.

I think the only difference with these auctions would be that they were not widely advertised so there might be a fair few collectors willing to bid above that final auction price. 1K is a bit excessive though!

On Darius Boyd just like to say the Knights came ova to NZ to play the Warriors there was open training on the sat I can say Boyd was one of the nicest guys I sat down next to him and he signed 6 cards for me would have signed more. All the Knights players were great don't no if thats because they were in NZ or what?? I can understand if he was p****ed off I would be if my boss came to me and said sorry your not getting paid but still carry on as normal thanks

Not really meaning Boyd in this, but I think they do tend to be a bit more relaxed in NZ, personally. I remember when I was 20 I went up to my first game at Mt Smart and a trainer saw me waiting outside the tunnel after the game for autographs and invited me into the dressing room to meet the team!
