One of the players I spoke to said he signed them recently but didn't know who they were for...I asked him for a pic and he said they took the images themselves to prove he signed them and he didn't get one.

Aside from the odd exception, most are really good quality players and differ for each release.

Someone posted up the 2013 LS collection and it really impressed me. I hope the cards are the same font/style for 2014 too (my OCD, sorry folks). Really looking forward to catching a sig or two (if I'm lucky) when I bust packs.

Yeah they are a great looking card in hand. I have only been collecting since ESP have been producing cards so can't comment on Select.

i hope whatever they make holds its value, and a sig card going for $250 - $300 on release week isnt going for $80 a month later, and that will come down to their production run, if they went all card creating happy and pumped out huge overs again, they can expect a shit result. thats the one thing select still has over them, production runs.

The production runs per card for the elite were relatively low (#130 & #105) it was just the fact that there was 36 sigs to collect. I think another issue to was the huge stock dump as people were busting cases and looking to offload sigs cheap to but more, this dragged the price down somewhat also.
