Vidic our 4-5 weeks now, not 2. Not ideal with Jajabinks out 6. We'll find out how good Jones is immediately.

Oops - just read Rio is back by the end of the month - so plus minus for United...

/\/\ evra is bask aswell. still an uber-young back line united have at the minute. de gea, evans, jones & smalling. could have a hard time vs spurs...

arsenal 2-1. line up looks quite good despite all the problems...

EDIT: koscielny out with back spasms or some such ailment...another one down for arsenal. also frenchTV reporting that nasri's city deal has broke down. this is getting worse than the fabs saga.

Played well for a young team. Shame to concede an offside og, but Liverpool did enough to get the points. Frimpong our best player before his sending off.
Hate losing, no matter who we have on the park. Should easily bounce back next weekend though...

Suarez & Meireles lifted the tempo for Liverpool and looked very dangerous once they came on, obviously the sending off created more space and this helped all up a good victory and our first at the ground...

he was off-side, but the wording of the rule is ridiculous. its hard enough to pick up close off-sides without 'if the player is closer to the goal than he si to the defender' business. they should amend it to either: if any of the player is in front of the last defender its off-side OR as long as some part of the attakcer is behind the defender hes fine. how is a ref suppose to decide whether hes closer to the goal or the defender. thats inches we're talking about. definately off-side tho.

EDIT: wenger says hes happy with samir's display vs the scousers and failed to comment on the rumours of a collapse in his city deal. think its also the first time ive heard wenger admit that a sending off was called for. 'pingpong was a victim of his lack of experience and his enthusiasm...he deserved a 2nd yellow'.

liverpool 2-0 tonight, arsenal are in turmoil after cesc leaving and the injuries will take there toll..

can i quote myself, and be dissapointed i didnt have a bet.
$15 was paying 2-0 'pool..

arsenal just couldnt finish in the attacking third. caouldnt find the last pass, and one pingpong sent off, there was just too much room for downing and meireles..
nice win :)

neville claims his international career was 'a waste of time'. doesnt see england winning anything for a decade...pretty conservative estimate i think.

I can't stand Ratboy, but he's been making a bit of sense as a media pundit. Said yesterday Wenger shouldn't blow £30m when anyone he could buy wouldn't be as good as Aaron Ramsay anyway. High praise, Ramsay not quite there yet though

Laughing at some silly Liverpool supporters that possess no intelligence at all.

Apparently United are rubbish because there coming 7th and Liverpool are coming 2nd. Haha. Yep.

wilshere is tho...

Fine win away by a very attacking City side. Gareth Barry's goal was an absolute peach...

Great to see Dzeko have such a good game - already looks a different player compared to last year's version.

Arsenal have reportedly made a bid to sign Kaka on loan from Real Madrid, while Andrey Arshavin may be off to Juventus.

i really doubt wenger will be selling another 1st team player. even if it is arshavin...
mata to chelsea almost complete.
nasri deal still not complete. maybe it has fallen through like reported?

/\/\ too much baloney on the site. makes it to hard to tell the difference between solid rumours and pie in the sky dream moves...
mancini warning wenger over nasri playing vs udinese. fair enough, but this transfer is turning out to be worse than the cesc saga. mancini claims he was hoping it would be over in 2 or 3 days not the 40 its taken so far. now he thinks itll take another 2 or 3 days. either way, arsenal need to ditch him because its pretty obvious he wont be signing a new contract and theres no point in letting him go for nothing next year...
