OMG!! How was that a red? Was barely hand ball in my opinion.. This world cup is turning out to be a joke.... i am so p***** off.

i can't believe the crap i just watched.... A ball has been blasted at goal and Kewell gets in the way to block on the line, hits him above the elbow and receives a red for handball? Bull crap! 2 Serbs this WC have done the same, both mirror images, jumped back to head and hits the hand- deliberate as hell, they get a yellow at the most, Kewell was just about accidental.

Then we have a dodgy tackle from a Ghanan and he gets a yellow, his tackle was worse than Cahill's, then even worse, he gets up and gives the ref hugs and kisses...

If there is no ref sackings after this World Cup, there is something going on at FIFA.

I'm watching SBS now and hey said that tackle was Red as Red can be, he said he was discraced to see him get away with it!

Couldn't agree more! What does FIFA stand for? Fully Into F#@king Australia??? Australia should just not turn up for their last game! Scwartzer will just get red-carded coz whichever GIT of a ref we get saddled with doesn't like his dress-sense or something!

I just wish something starts to go right for us... Kennedy is ready on the touch-line. And i'm getting sick of these stupid refs we are getting left with, they are all card-happy and i hate card happy!
 
sadly i think if you touch the ball on the goal line it is automatic red. however this was accidental and above the elbow so does not matter.

mind you this isnt the only ****ed up match.


the spain v sui one was so ****ing favouritism to spain. The ref clearly was hoping spain would draw after sui got the goal.

He gave them a generous 5mins extra time even though the half flowed very smoothly without hassel. When it go to 5mins the the sui kicked it out and ended up being a corner. He should of blew the whistle then. But he allowed for about 30seconds more to let spain take that corner.

I cant belive you can get stretchered off with a blood nose...werent they telling the aussies they were soft?
 
Sadly, i will admit, our world cup run is just about over:( According to a quick calculation we need Germany to lose against Ghana (who need to keep a clean sheet) and we need to win by at least 5 goals.......so........ tough task..

What annoyed me tonight, apart from the ref of course, was Pim. We need a goal so he takes three of our best players on the night off- Holman, Wilkshire and Bresciano? What a joke

don't know why he got stretched off, but you do need to go off if there is blood for a jersey change to stop the spread of foreign disease and infection
 
Yeah its the same for all sports expect Rugby for some reason...they reckon Aus have to have a minimum 3 goal win
 
Soo depressing especially because we were better than them, the ref was Italian i think (done by Italians in world cups again). Not much Harry could do but Wiltshire and Chipper had opportunities to win it. Just maybe the last games we will have our luck or maybe 4 years later - we still arent strong enough to win it by any stretch of the imagination. Hopefully we have a lot of young talent coming through.

No....

For a change Pim showed he had some balls and was willing to try everything he had!! Chipper came on and his first 2 touches were almost golden. Kennedy stretched them even more after they were obviously uncomfortable with the high ball... and the last guy, just a fresh set of legs, a very quick set too, to see if something would happen! I applaud Pim for actually coaching the game on its merits and pushing for that 2nd goal even though we were down to 10 men!!

Its fairly obvious to me that FIFA just doesn't want Australia to do well, breaking our back and any chance we had of offering up us a decent host nation... I mean c'mon, they give us every reason known to man why we can't hold it yet they hold it n South Africa, the Murder capital of the world?!? Drug lord run Providences and the infrastructure of a small 3rd world country....... Europe, South America or Africa... If you don't belong in there then FIFA doesn't give 2 ****s about ya!
 
Australia would of demolished Ghana if Harry wasn't sent off. They play great even with one man down....really proud of them.

Seriously that tackle that there player made in like the 40th minute from behind should of been red...easily no way Cahill's challenge was worst then that.

Here's a fact one red card for every single match played in Group D so far...

That game really was a treat to watch! Loved Ronaldo finishing with that goal with the ball bouncing off his head twice and sat up right in front of him
