thats because Mile Jedinak was a no name.

he started of as a marconi stallions player then got rejected by sydney united. but the mariners gave him a trial. he played 3 games with them and then they signed him up on a 30,000 contract for the rest of the year.

he got a 2 year deal with the mariners got the best player for the mariners two years in a row voted by members (me) and the players themselves. I was stoked to see him get on the field. i stopped supporting the mariners when they let him go to turkey.

GERMANY outplayed us period!

the red card on cahill was a bit harsh but not surprising, he tried to tackle the bloke from behind and missed the ball completely? even as a 12 year old playing for divison 1 there has been plenty of times where players have been sent off for that! and in a comp. with plenty of superstars it didnt surprise me that no leniency was given.

overall the Germans were a lot more structured, calm, and smarter with their attacking plays. well played Germany!​
 
have you actually seen the red card? I don't know why you are saying he is a retard because he got robbed and there was barely anything in it.
 
yeh it was just a yellow cahill pulled out in the end. just before he tacked. no studs were showing. should have been seeing yellow
 
ahhh well it is germany that we lost too, one of the favorites for the world cup. Lets hope germany can cause the same type of damage to serbia and ghana. downside is that for their final group game they will rest some stars.

The dutch did well and dk scored a goal :thumbsup:

japan and cameroon should be a fast and exciting game.

apparently japans coach said that south africa is the only place in the world where you can hire a gun for 10,000 rand and make 50,000 rand, that statement did not sit well with the host nation.

a tackle from behind is a "BIG NO!" in soccer especially when he didnt even get a slight touch of the ball. thats why they gave him a red, it probably doesnt seem as bad as it looked because we are seeing it slower (from a distance)​
 
i think he got the timing a little off but he committed himself to the tackle when the player had the ball, he passed late and i think if he still had the ball it would be a perfect tackle.
 
we were 2-0 down at the time, i think it was maybe a yellow card offence at the most.

In the Paraguay v Italy game this morning an italian tackled an opposition player from behind and was twice as worse as Cahill's and just got a warning
