If a legends signature is 400 tops coming from a 4 dollar release, and is also a 1 in a case release doesnt that mean:
A 1 in 3 case card, double the price of traders, will cost
(400 X 2) X 3?
so 2400 dollars for a sapphire team set? does that make sense. gotta be pretty absurd for the master set collector, if there are still any out there.

I suppose the secondary market does dictate price to a certain extent. Variables to consider when pricing cards include team, player, serial numbered or not, availability and number produced.

Recent examples are World Cup Heroes Parallels from 14 Elite. Very popular, prices started low and sky rocketed. Had these been serial numbered the prices would have been significantly more.

13 Traders, generally considered to be a poor release but unnumbered YG signatures and the Legends, hand numbered and still /208 command better prices than YG signatures serial numbered to half the 13 Traders run

Sometimes I look at the really high end cards which are numbered to a good number. e.g. Braith Anasta 2005 of something, but they rarley pop up. someone most be hoarding them.

Just the master set collectors or team collectors don't let these cards go without a fight and will sacrifice other cards before them to keep them in their PCs

Perhaps thats why you cant get your tim medallist signature. Some of the higher end cards such as that braith anasta etc. I've never even seen an image of. Dans NRL doesnt come in handy at all nowa days as he doesnt list high end cards for some reason.

They must still be numbered to 60, same as last year

Well I guess that aren't collectors so they dont really care what shit they produce apart from the profit they generate. I wonder how many people work for ESP, perhaps a card collector should work for ESP.
