Now is when ESP should start releasing teasers of the 16 elite product

Pics of the cards getting signed, pics of cards etc.

By July when they are released it the interest in them would be much greater and will prevent some disillusionment in the market.

How awesome would it be to see a few pics a week of cards getting signed until release date

You would think so.......build some momentum and interest over the coming weeks and months.......would be nice.

Have heard packs to be $7.99. Only one parallel set, but two Mojo sets: Ruby numbered to 40, and Sapphire numbered to 20. If i hear anything more i will add new post.

I love the idea of the mojo sets but this will drive me to collecting only my team now plus sigs. Question mark on whether to buy a case or not or save the money and buy in the secondary market.

They spend so little to print a few photos of players on different coloured paper, makes little sense why people put up to it. Perhaps we should just all stay away unless it is exceptional in quality.

I think Elite is really a make or break release this year for ESP........a lot of the bigger sellers wont be buying in as much (some are still hurting from last year) and unless the product blows everyone away, still at $7.99 RRP it will be a big ask.

Now if I was at ESP the one thing I would be looking at to help drive sales of Elite is instead of having a pack of the Mojo Cards.....make them one a box or one in every 2 boxes......give something for collectors to chase.

Would make trading a lot more exciting and would create a lot of interest in group breaks for people chasing these cards!

Unfortunately there are too many addicts, regardless of the sh ! t they push we keep on buying

Power Play have exactly the same players with the same pictures as 2016 Traders plus 2 new players.... hmmm

Now if I was at ESP the one thing I would be looking at to help drive sales of Elite is instead of having a pack of the Mojo Cards.....make them one a box or one in every 2 boxes......give something for collectors to chase.

I was hoping this was the case last year, it would be much more exciting/interesting.

This is really scary. Scarcity is a double-edged sword. On one hand it is exciting to have the chance to obtain something rare. However, with so many collectors dropping to team set collecting we are seeing an increase in the amount of card hoarding (monopolising, building number banks etc) that is happening (due I guess to people not having that much to collect anymore...oh...and greed). At the end of the day card collecting is about fun not commerce.

The less people that have the ability to complete sets, the fewer people will bother collecting and a smaller gene pool equals death to the hobby.

Let's see what else the set has to offer I guess. However a feeding frenzy over some ultra-rare parallels is not whetting my apetite at this stage

there are even some of the same pictures in the Ultimate collection in power play, I saw them and thought are you fucking joking, they cannot even use different pics in a different release, hence I have not collected 1 card.
