Official 2013-14 Playoffs Thread - SPOILERS!

when did duncan manu and parker ever have hard times? they were lucky they ended up on the same team like MJ was lucky to get pippen and a bunch of good role players, not to mention a great coach. the second bulls 3-peat was effectively bought as adding rodman was a massive coup.
Rodman was traded for, and at the time was thought to be a team cancer, bulls got lucky, he could have done a Andrew Bynum and killed the team like he did to the cavs/pacers

Love this post, we all have different opinions, all love our teams, just think people go overboard when they start getting personal, it's only a game folks :). I just don't agree when people say such and such team e.g the spurs are "lucky" I call it good scouting, cavs where "lucky" with the endless number one picks it's had, but they also drafted Bennett ;), lucky? Lol

It's closer than most people realize, how many clutch shots LeBron has made compared to MJ. Have a good read and you will have a greater appreciation of how he isn't only a scorer in crunch time, he's a monster rebounder and assist maker in those situations as well. People only remember the flair for dramatics and the jump shot. I bet most people remember Jordan's last shot as a Bull against the Jazz, with the shove off with the left hand. I bet fewer will remember his two made free throws to tie the game temporarily or his layup to bring them to one point after a Stockton three.

Everyone is going to ignore this as it's much more fun to bag out one of the best players WE WILL EVER SEE. He is better than Kobe. Way better in my opinion.

You must. Have not watched Jordan, Lebron is a all time great when he hangs it up, but the best ever, that's another whole can of worms lol, think Miami will win game 4, it has too, beating the spurs 3 times in a row will be near imposable

You must have not read his comment!
"one of the best players WE WILL EVER SEE" I didn't see any direct comparison to MJ. I thought we were all over this already?

Anyway, how ridiculous were the Spurs in that first half :o
Incredible shooting. Halfway through the 2nd quarter Miami were shooting 60% from the field and were down 18 points! Madness.

I love watching the Spurs when they aren't flopping every 2nd play :p

That was insane aye.. looked as thought Miami were terrible, but they were shooting 60%!!!

Middle of the 3rd.. one of the commentators says: 'The Spurs shooting has slumped to 68%"... WTH! !???!?!??

Yep Kawhi's D on Bron for the most part was great. Green was also playing great D. And Patty Mills.. great to see him playing well.

Sort of like Bron went off in the 1st, then disappeared because of Kawhi's D.. and took Wade till the 3rd to get into his groove.

Great game. I love seeing records being broken.

The Spurs just look extremely focused and well-drilled.

A lot of this seems to be Pops coaching (and his scouting staff).

They are just clinical. Gosh I hope they win. It will be so well deserved.

Did anyone else catch ESPN First Take with Rick Fox today? Lordy, the girl in the background is just a perfect 10 out of 10.

Just finished watching Game 3. WOW, what a 1st half by the Spurs. Flawless Basketball. How deflating would it be to have scored 50 in a half AND BE DOWN BY 21!!! Even though the Heat made a run in the 3rd (which all Championship calibre teams will do) they just gave the Spurs way too much of a lead to come back from. I loved Patty Mills's game, both in terms of running the offense and hustling his ass off, which gave the Spurs a huge boost.

While Lebrons first half was good, Wade's was downright awful, with a lot of unforced turnovers and a general lack of aggression. And Chalmers was even worse than he has already been this series, he has played terribly, both on offense AND defense.

Surely the Spurs cannot play 2 near perfect games in a row, so will we be heading back to San Antonio tied at 2-2? Miami has not lost 2 playoff games in a row in like 47 (maybe 48) games, so I think a Miami victory in Game 4 will be expected by most, including myself, but again it is going to take a huge game by Lebron to get it done, coz Wade (IMO) is not up to taking over a game anymore and carrying his team to victory, and with only 1 day break until Game 4, it is simply not enough rest for him to be at his peak.

6:00 mark...freaky looking...looks like a moustache and a very fake tan. like she hasn't got eyes at all...
