If you advertise that your going manufacture 50 individually numbered cards that your are going to sell, you leagally have to go through with it.

Every business takes risks, it's how business works.

They state 50 only Made not 50 for sale or available. They also said 400 cases made but only sold 390. So tell me were are they misleading anyone??

Even if you can & I'm wrong I don't see what the fuss is about. We all have Known that Grant keeps all No 1 so why the fuss now & the constant b!tching about Select. They have produced both release of NRL this year & in my opinion some of their best to date & have gone out on a HIGH.
Lets see what ESP deliver over the next few years & see if its value for money & what Nos they Keep (even though I don't care what #s they Keep)

Hay George, no offence mate but look at the problem, where not talking about this years releases, all the fuss ? can't you see the problem? Mate, if someone wants to pushes this further it could criple Select.

well if you want collectors to buy your products you would make all cards available wouldn't you?

especially with a sport like rugby league where collectors are chasing jersey numbers and number 1 would be a commonly chased number wouldn't it ???

dont get upset cause select aren't producing nrl cards anymore prepared to be stallowned in the next few years

Jersey Nos I understand but Low # are collected because they generate a higher $$$ & correct me if I'm wrong didn't you say a true collector dosen't care about the money??

Don't be silly, if you advertise 50 made and you keep 49 and release 1 what do you think would happen???:thumbsdown::rolleyes::whistle::lol::worthy:

Nothing would happen. If your so upset by Select/Grant keeping No 1 & you think Fair Trading are going to give you a case againts Select then go for it & see what happens - you will be only wasteing your money.

Exactly, if they don't release all 50 then ther advertising should reflect this. Otherwise, there's nothing to stop them keeping 45 for themselves and only putting 5 in packs.

Their flyers might not specifically state 50 cards available in packs, but the fact it doesn't state there's only 49 available is highly misleading.

Seriously?! You say nothing would happen if Select only released one /50 League Leader in packs and kept the rest for themselves?! There'd be a riot!

They have never done that so why Talk what ifs. Select have never done that & never will. As for keeping No 1 thats their right & if it upsets you so much don't buy their products. but to talk hyperthetically is stupid so why even make such a silly coment.

Hay George, they have no right to keep number 1's and what stops them keeping more than one card? It's not stupid buddy.

I didn't state the hypothetical situation, Mr Grasshopper did, and you replied to it. Then I replied to your hypothesis reply. So you've called yourself stupid (as well as me). Good one.

As Mr Grasshopper says in the post above this one, if there's no controls over them stating how many they've produced and not disclosing how many are available in packs and cases, then they can do whatever they like. Imo it needs to be clarified in their advertising etc how many of each card is available to the public.
