I'm sure most card producers keep No1 in their museum or private Stock.

Topps, Panini, Upperdeck, Leaf, Rittenhouse all dont. Footycards did not hold on to the #1's in their Draft Prospects release this year.

Its a little out of the ordinary but I dont really care either way. The number on the card does not worry me.

I would have thought a lot of the money (from the point of view of a corporate collection) would have been in the printing plates. Imagine if you got hold of these in the future.

I'm sure whatever No they keep it is always the same & I personally don't see a problem with that.

Show me were the owner of a company dosen't do what he wants.

well if you want collectors to buy your products you would make all cards available wouldn't you?

especially with a sport like rugby league where collectors are chasing jersey numbers and number 1 would be a commonly chased number wouldn't it ???

dont get upset cause select aren't producing nrl cards anymore prepared to be stallowned in the next few years

APCS- Keep all the No1s & last No of the run. Also Select don't keep the Jersey No they Release them.

I don't know why everyone is worried about it. Grant puts up big money to produce his products & takes all the risks!!

If you advertise that your going manufacture 50 individually numbered cards that your are going to sell, you leagally have to go through with it.

Every business takes risks, it's how business works.

Im sure if i spent more than 30 seconds looking i could find them.

Even if you can & I'm wrong I don't see what the fuss is about. We all have Known that Grant keeps all No 1 so why the fuss now & the constant b!tching about Select. They have produced both release of NRL this year & in my opinion some of their best to date & have gone out on a HIGH.
Lets see what ESP deliver over the next few years & see if its value for money & what Nos they Keep (even though I don't care what #s they Keep)
