The Celtics have proven to still have championship level basketball left in them old legs. I told Matt before the Philly-Celtics series begun, even an ailing Boston team is more dangerous to the Heat than a healthy Philly team and the Celtics have shown that this series. Win or lose for the Heat and the Celtics, this has been a series for the fans, and whoever advances, this was a hard fought battle and I tip my hat to either team. Heat for making it a series without Bosh is already a testament in itself, you take away Harden from OKC or Ginobili from the Spurs, or Ray Allen from the Celtics and none of these teams are the same.

Almost completely true!
Manu missed 26 games for the Spurs and they stood up like no other team in the League (except the Bulls perhaps) I know playoff ball is different, but still 26 games was a lot longer than Bosh was out!
I must say, I think the Heat should win game 7. I have this awful feeling that they'll somehow beat OKC too.
I wanted Spurs/Boston, but I think Heat/OKC will be a cracking finals.
Boston of course could still do it, but I'm not sure they will. Fingers crossed there.
Okc deserve this ring sooo bad. It's a shame the East is pathetically weak. Pacers are at about the same level as the Jazz IMO.The Heat have gotten through because they have'nt played anyone solid until the Finals.
Gotta love a game 7 though. I'd love to see the C's do it.

yeh I also think OKC have a better chance against BOS. MIA will test OKC more since they are capable of playing sustained up-tempo defense. lebron + wade being so fast off the switch can challenge most good offense. also if BOS gets through MIA they will be very beat up
it's not over yet. i don't like boston much because of paul pierce, but i want to see a game 7 war!
yeah sure they arent the best teams in the competition, but are they any worse than what boston had??? your a lebron hater so no matter what he does or the heat do, you will always knock! WHICH you are entitled to do, so in your opinion lebron has done nothing in the playoffs and someone else has carried the heat????? interesting...i cant stand boston or the spurs, but at least i give props to the players if they are playing well...
i agree...boston have played well and really have exceeded what i thought they would do with a limited bench and ageing group...but garnett and rondo have carried them...your right about pierce, have you ever seen such a whiney little punk? never looks happy and is always shitty about something, maybe he doesnt get enough at home or something???...lol...i dont know...
I'm not a "hater", I hate that term though.
Lebron is a freak and a great player. I just don't get how he goes about things. He carried them today. But not all through the playoffs.
D. Wade came up HUGE against Indy. I just don't think there was much carrying to do against the Knicks and the Pacers.They are not great teams. Lebron did'nt need to do any carrying there, he just played his normal 29 pts 9 reb and 8 assists or whatever. Today the Heat needed him to go off, and he did. He needs to keep doing it if they want to win.
Boston also had a fairly easy run, it's the East. Everyone knows it's still weak. It's getting better though. Add in that Dwight and Rose were out and it had C's vs Heat written all over it. Like most, I'm just glad the Heat at least got a challenge along the way to the Finals (if they do win game 7, which I think they will). Look at the run the Thunder have had. That is a championship drive. Tough teams every match up. Did they say 10 of the past 13 Championships? Amazing really. The Heat have faced the winners of 1 of the last 13 championships.
I've said it over and over, I like true "teams", I don't think the Heat is one. I can't stand Spoelstra talking either. They're always sooking about "the noise", get over it, who cares? Everyone hated the Lakers when they were winning too. Just get on with it. It clearly gets to them if they keep bringing it up.
I also LOVE an underdog, it's the Australian way.
Lebron was great today and IS great. But he needs to grow up and quit dancing around with Wade, I hope they keep losing. I just have this awful, awful feeling that they'll beat OKC (if they get through).
