Official 2011-2012 Playoff thread

WOW!
Funny, everyone was calling SAS/MIA as a given for the finals! Never thought BOTH would be on the back foot like this!

Regardless who wins the ring this year... you know they earned it!

Wow, Heat blowing it bigtime. Why aren't i surprised? I was convinced Bron would win a ring soon but not so sure. Just can't seem to get it done. Hope i'm wrong for Wade's sake.

Series isn't over til it's over! It's only a 3-2 lead, take it one game at a time...win the next game and it's back to Miami for the close out. You wanna win the whole thing? Then you gotta pay your dues and get baptised in the fire before you are deserving of the trophy. Every team faces adversity, just like the Dallas Mavericks last year when they had to erase double digit leads in pivotal games just to stay in it.

Steve Nash...

Absolutely. Wade and Lebron are scorers with playmaking tendencies and great defensive pressence. Expecting then to pick up the slack from (lets face it) a crap PG is hurting them badly.

It may change lebro's game for the better, get down on the post where he belongs.

Definately! Lebron and Wade will still make plays but it shouldnt be their role to pad out their offensive creation.

IMO, MIA don't need a PG when they have two elite players who demand the ball 9/10 possessions, making an effective pass-first PG irrelevant.

Funny enough, my 2K12 Online Association had a trade of Nash+ for Bosh+

That, and there's rumours about Nash "interested" in signing there this off-season in the NBA.

Lebron doesnt have the nous to post up, he SHOULD, but he prefers to drive, lol, or pass off to Haslem for a midrange.... Sorry, had to throw that low blow in the mix.

I hope Miami get rid of their coach and get one that has some balls. Obviously wade and Lebro are playing the way they want. I keep saying it but if Lebro could and I don't know how you can teach it but find the nouse for the post. It completely changes your teams style of play being inside first. If I'm a defender I'm much happier seeing James out near the 3 point line.
