Official 2011-2012 Playoff thread

Lebron was flat out focused and unbelievable game 6. It will be interesting to see what he does game 7 and then possibly in the finals. Like I said earlier, I have this awful feeling that the Heat will win it now. OKC have had a very tough run and deserve it more, but the finals, anyone can win.

On a side note, that wantlist you have is pretty awesome. Have you got many in?

Got over half the game dated's and not as many of the others. The GDMM is my only set chase and just after any of the players i like for the others. But the SPGU's and the Virtuosos are so bloody rare.

Sortable NBA Player "Clutch" Stats

"Clutch" is defined as:
4th quarter or overtime, less than 5 minutes left, neither team ahead by more than 5 points

Being 'clutch' and having 'clutch stats' are 2 different things..

Kobe is 36 for 115 (31.3%) when his team is trailing by one or two points, or tied, in the final 24 seconds..

while Mike Bibby is 15 for 39 (38%).... Rashard Lewis (39%)... Hedo Turkoglu (40%)

Theres 24 names with better 'clutch stats' than Kobe... who would u take to close out games??

Does that mean the best closer in the game is not 'clutch' because of his stats??

Game 7 of the Heat/Celtics may be one of the greatest games ever played. I'm saying it now. I just have this vibe from this game.
Something tells me it's going to be Mr. Rondo with an incredible triple double versus 40+ points from LeBron.
Celtics winning in the end of course though ;)

Ok lets get some predictions for todays game, result, high score player and amount, how many blocks for KG. If you get all these right i will donate this for the correct result.

that's worth a try, can the man that was possessed in game 6 continue where he left off?

Boston with their backs against the wall on the road, they have a good road record for game 7's but I'll say Miami 113 Boston 111 in overtime.

I'll go out on a limb and say Wade will redeem himself after a horrible game 6 & score 42 points & KG to pick up 6 blocks.

Yeah Heat need something from Wade, im not going to pick who wins though as it really is anyones game.
Hope its real competitive though either way the ball drops

Wow, will be quite the game with those numbers maso. Just need the winner not the score.

I just want to see a close battle unlike game 6 but I am thinking the Celtics will decide to double up on James leaving Wade to do what James did in game 6 , high hopes but the big story is who will Miami ditch from the big 3 if they lose today or will it be the coach?

Heat to win.
LBJ to high score with 32.
KG with 2 block shots.
That TD card is very nice indeed, If I win it I'd like to donate it to a TD collector who needs it.

Haven't been this excited for an nba game since having to wake up at 2 am to catch the bulls finals on 10 against Utah and sonics

May the best team win. Lebron's game 6 would mean nothing if he doesn't win this one. Too many plays through wade so far, could be disastrous if this is their plan for the whole game

Celtics look more focused to start, hopefully they don't gas out
