I think NJ copped the rough end of the pineapple... lol. I never touched my pre-selections.
If we can get 10 teams, or 12 that'd be great! That way we'll have to fight for our playoff spots, cos only 8 spots means there's elimination.
With the league forums, I think you're right Steve, we can't use them until we've set up the league.
I guess once we fill the spots we're right to go.

i wish these 4 teams would be the final teams. i guess it would force people to learn how to play even better defence lol

Damn man, can't belive you're not happy with that team! You got like a USA starting 5 there, asides from Parker of course.
I'll send some PM's tonight to all the 2k9 guys and see if we can get 16 by say friday and then if you guys are happy with the numbers we've got we'll kick it off.
I'm happy for OZCT members to have preference in teams, the other guys will just have to be first in best dressed. So just to confirm;

Also, by the sounds of it everyone is happy with the Simulated or Live draft? I'm happy to just leave it and take the luck of the draw. We could set it up for like 4am one monday morning and if people want to get up that early and cheat then so be it, but it's not fool proof and doesn't stop people from putting in their preferences.
Any thoughts?
Yeah i hear you man, that's the great thing about these random drafts. You don't know what you're gonna get and you're not necessarily stuck with it once you get them. If it we're real I'd be shopping Duncan, not my kind of Big Man.
Also, Paul Pierce is available for any amount of base cards.
Just to add, you can make adjustments to settings, deal trades and sign from the FA list through the league pages on 2K Sports. Would have to register and sign in of course. I thought that was pretty cool.
It hasn't been set up yet mate, we need to know exactly how many people we got before we set it up. What we're running right now was just a 4 team test to see how the draft would work.
The actual league will hopefully be set up by sunday at the latest. Will put you down for Miami.
In the meantime I suppose you could add all the guys and maybe get a few muck around games in between now and then if you're up for it, otherwise you've got them in your contacts for when the league kicks off which you'll need to do anyway;

I'm with you on that one. While it would still be fun to run a few games with these squads, the reality is any one of them could almost be an all star team. Will test your skills alot more when using the scrubs the PC deals us and even more when we get to trade to get the missing peices.
I've confirmed the schedule in this test league so you guys can mess around with trading and signing to see how it works in the next few days and even run a game or two which I should be up for on friday night.
I've sent off a second lot of PM's through X-Box Live, still waiting on hearing back from 6 of those guys and I know one of my mates will be in which should make an even 10. If 2 of those guys are intetrested that would be great, If all 6 are then we got 16.
If none are up for it we still got an even 10 and should be ready to set it up if everyone's happy to get into it by friday and possibly even start playing league games by monday.
One thing I've noticed with the schedule is each round has 5 games. I've currently got the length of each round at 1 week. How many games is everyone willing to play per week? Personally I'd be looking at 2 to 3 tops so extending each round by a week would have us playing 2 one week, 3 the next etc.
We could even extend it to 3 weeks, then we'd have 2, 2 and 1 each week, would be up to everyone to manage how many games they're playing and making sure you don't get to far ahead.
