Who would you pick for SOO NSW?

Game 3 side:

1 James Tedesco (Wests Tigers)
2 Blake Ferguson (Sydney Roosters)
3 Michael Jennings (Parramatta Eels)
4 Josh Dugan (St George Illawarra Dragons)
5 Josh Mansour (Penrith Panthers)
6 James Maloney (Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks)
7 Adam Reynolds (South Sydney Rabbitohs)
8 Aaron Woods (Wests Tigers)
9 Robbie Farah (Wests Tigers)
10 Paul Gallen (c) Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks)
11 Wade Graham (Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks)
12 Josh Jackson (Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs)
13 Tyson Frizell (St George Illawarra Dragons)

Interchange
14 Jack Bird (Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks)
15 James Tamou (North Queensland Cowboys)
16 David Klemmer (Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs)
17 Andrew Fifita (Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks)

pretty sure they cant decide if they wanna keep the old s*** or get a new team going...

As a Queensland supporter I feel this team poses the biggest threat, lots of point scoring ability. Whether or not they can gel is another story and I hope that if they do lose they don't get hung out to dry.

Ennis should be 9, based on form and his familiarity with keys players such as Gallen, Maloney, Bird, Fifita and even Klemmer and Jackson from his time at the Dogs.

I think both Ferguson and Jennings are very lucky to keep their spots

Wow strong bench good to see Cooper get his chance you would think Myles and Lillyman would retire either this or next season? Papalii injured too.

Will the Limited Edition Qld champions set have all the players who played this years origin series or just game 3? Don't want to miss out on players that were there for the first 2 games and missed the third? No Morgan or Papalii in the set. Hopefully there will be a Parker retirement card like Hodges from last year?

Interesting move picking a full back to fill a halves spot in SOO

I know Moylan will be a 6 one day but when he doesn't play their regularly at club level I don't see how he is expected to step in the toughest arena of all

As a Penrith supporter, happy he is back in the side........but I reckon they should have kept the Cronulla combo together for the game Maloney/Townsend....they are the best team in the comp and in form, why not have them.

May also have something to do with Penrith playing Cronulla this weekend too! ;)

Will Bird go to 6 and Moylan to bench?

This has to be it, we can't put Moylan in the halves he has never even started a game there in the NRL.

Personally I think picking Moylan for this game is a mistake, based on some sort of sympathy selection, he will be like Walker in Game 1 and get about 10 minutes unless there is an injury in the backs. They would have been better served with a true utility player like.........Peachey or even give Greg Bird his last NSW pay cheque.

Cheers
Ross

from last nights game
Maloney had a great game
Moylan not a 5/8th useless in defense, farah had to take pressure off maloney by kicking
Tedesco twice hog the ball when players were open to score
Fifita- brain explosion (but don't believe he should be suspended especially since Thaiday has always gotten away with it)
Gallen- farewell nice to leave on a win, shame it's not a series win
Farah- helped alleviate part of the pressure off maloney but half of his passing was shocking, giving hospital passes or just wayard passes

So agree with Tedesco. Solid debut, once Moylan could have made a break through the centre, other time, ferguson on the wing. I saw ferguson's arms go up in disgust.
Frizell looks to have taken the blues jersey for the next decade. Strong showing in both games.

Surely the selectors will get some brains and build a team around Tedesco, Frizell, Fifita (i enjoy watching him play origin) Mansour , Woods, Graham, Bird and i would include Walker also in that along with Moylan somewhere (wing maybe)

Moylan is not a 5/8 YET, I think he showed potential considering he was playing in one or the hardest games of the season (origin)

I'm sure many blues fans will still have doubts over mansour and ferguson. Perhaps Brett Morris should play next year if he is injury free and his form is on the up, just like the recent three weeks.

Based on Club stats the Best Team would be:

1: James Tedesco
2: Brett Morris
3: Jack Wighton
4: Blake Ferguson
5: Josh Mansour / James Roberts
6: James Maloney
7: Mitchell Pearce
8: Aaron Woods
9: Michael Ennis
10: Ryan James
11: Josh Jackson
12: Boyd Cordner
13: Tyson Frizzell

14: Wade Graham
15: Paul Vaughan
16: David Klemmer
17: Jake Trobojevic

- It's funny, in a game where we are short of strike centres - People forget that Wighton is a great tough centre (that's being made to play FB)
Fast as heck and a great defender...
- Ferguson is a club centre, Why play him on the wing? Morris is about done, and Jennings is fast - And that's all!! - I hate Ferguson, But who else is there...
Roberts is too inconsistent for mine.
- Moylan is so far behind the pace of Origin it's scary and nowhere near my team.
- Pearce is still the best 7 in NSW, And it's not even close. If he had the forwards doing for him what they did last night he'd have had a field day.

- Graham can cover the halves should he need to...
- I think Paul Vaughan is a very underated forward - Great Leg speed and drive.... He's build for Origin. Sticky keeps playing him in ressies and he'll lose him.

We've been super dominated up the middle for the last 10 years, Halves and backs have never been the problem for mine.
- Give them some room and they'll be fine...

We've finally got the forwards to match them now - And they know it. It's just a matter of getting them in the same team.

Moylan shouldn't have been picked when he doesn't even play there for club level, all he showed last night was that he is good runing with the ball, something he does as a fullback or could do as a winger, he has no kicking game or ability to set up plays. which is something the blues are seriously missing and something both thurston & cronk can execute well
He is part of the reason we couldn't capitalise on our possession because we really only had one half playing. For me picking a player out of position, when we head others that deserved it more, is a joke
