Who would you pick for SOO NSW?

YES!!!

Morris GONE. Walker to start

BIRD to make debut on bench

Im a qld fan but this side looks sssooooo much better

Just need to squeeze Cartwright/peachy in now

Walker should of never been there, there others I would have there before him and bozo is the reason he's on the team and I believe wild will target him as a weakness. I hope he proves me wrong

apparently to win the comp this year you are either going to have the most eligible NSW players or the least haha

Blues fans, thoughts on the game last night?

As always it was in the balance until the last couple of minutes. NSW certainly had their chances and I felt that the flow of the game went both ways.

I think if they start penalizing more players at the ruck, defenders for trying to slow it down and subtly knee the ball carrying arm and attackers for not playing the ball on the mark it correctly then the game will improve. Afterall slow is smooth and smooth is fast

Frizell and Bird were excellent on debut, Walker gave up a few penalties and was a bit quiet but didn't really give GI much.

I think Jennings days in the sky blue must be nearly over. Very dangerous in broken play but hasn't had a great series. I still don't know how that grub Ferguson got picked, all he did was niggle, whine, mouth off and make poor reads on his edge.

Jennings.

Throws dud pass to Mansour that gets intercepted by Gagai for try.

Runs out of line, tackles nothing. Gagai scores again.

Touches ball to knock on in goal, otherwise Frizell scores.

Knocks on for Maloney to be denied.

As for Qld, just lucky. Intercept try and two tries from repeat sets from nsw error or caught in goal. Credit to them though. You make and take those opps and you win.

Better still, if Souths shit season could get any worse, Reynolds out now. Lol.

Again it was close but, NSW were maybe even better than QLD, but class knows how to execute the clutch plays.

As an eternal optimist I think next series we are a chance even though there are two games in QLD.

With a bit more of a tinker to the side for next year by not having Gallen, G Bird, Tamau, Jennings and instead; Dugan, Tedesco, Cartwright, Graham we look good.

We just need JT, Cronk, Smith, GI to retire.

For NSW, this was the year to go blooding a whole gen next squad. They partially succeeded.

Gallen shouldn't get game iii either. Nor Farah (a mistake IMHO).

And Gus should be installed as head boss with support from bluebaggers like Fittler, Joey Johns.

^^^^I agree with your post we need to blood the future but please not Gus Gould for coach........although it would be great not to have to listen to his commentary.

I would really like to see peats in for game 3 however Daley already mentioned that he wasnt looking a t changing the team baring injuries

Can't remember where we had the discussion about goal kickers but finally found it and thought it had some relation to NSW bolters. @Brendan_B

Game 3 side:

1 James Tedesco (Wests Tigers)
2 Blake Ferguson (Sydney Roosters)
3 Michael Jennings (Parramatta Eels)
4 Josh Dugan (St George Illawarra Dragons)
5 Josh Mansour (Penrith Panthers)
6 James Maloney (Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks)
7 Adam Reynolds (South Sydney Rabbitohs)
8 Aaron Woods (Wests Tigers)
9 Robbie Farah (Wests Tigers)
10 Paul Gallen (c) Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks)
11 Wade Graham (Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks)
12 Josh Jackson (Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs)
13 Tyson Frizell (St George Illawarra Dragons)

Interchange
14 Jack Bird (Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks)
15 James Tamou (North Queensland Cowboys)
16 David Klemmer (Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs)
17 Andrew Fifita (Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks)

pretty sure they cant decide if they wanna keep the old shit or get a new team going...

Does NSW struggle for depth in hooker or has Farah been kissed on the D@#k by the football gods???

The other options i can see are Mick Ennis, Mitch Rein, Michael Lichaa and Nathan Peats? As much as I hate him Ennis is in career best form! Jarrod Mullen would look good in a NSW 9 jersey too.

At the end of the day doesn't really matter Qld will win :D
