SITE RULES
Packaging:
Absolutely no sending in white envelopes under any circumstances. The minimum amount of protection when sending all cards is as follows:

a) Each card to be in a penny sleeve, always.
b) Cards are to be placed in appropriately thick top loaders, secured by tape at the top.
c) Cards to be sent in a bubble mailer.

In the event of sending a large number of cards, where individually placing each card in a top loader is not practical, the cards should be well protected between cardboard/top loaders and posted in a box or bubble mailer.

it should read:

Who cares bout if there sticky though ur paying/trading for whats in it not the top loader if you have a problem with them just chuck em out theres no need to change the rules

Chill pill people, i understand the art of Sarcasm can be lost on the internet, but some people face palm. I was frustrated yesterday after opening a mail day that is all, I know they are worth $0.05 each, the point is not the cost, nor the fact that the ones covered in tape and sticky residue still protect cards, but why cover them and make them ugly for when you open a package with on of them they are liked they have been pulled out of a Donkey's ass.

So if I've read this correctly, all you care about is being able to see the card through a nice clear top loader when you open the bubble mailer yeah?

Unfortunately mate, thats just never gonna be common practice. People look to make every single bit of profit that they possible can when selling cards, always using fresh top loaders would kill thier margins.

Putting sticky tape on top may be a visual inconvenience, but I'd rather have mine arrive safely in a crusty Top loader, than to have to go through all the hoops for a "damaged item" refund.

I'd be lying if i said I didn't appreciate getting a nice clean toploader in the mail, but I don't really care either way. As log as the cards protected. Clean top loaders will be kept and used, ugly toploaders are first in line to be sent oh on the next trade. Don't like it, then throw in an extra .50c and request a fresh toploader in a team bag.

Its not about keeping the top loader for displaying your card, but imagine these two scenarios:

2. You come home from a shocking day at work and find a bubble mailer in the letter box mixed in with a few bills, you trudge inside and open the bills, get angry because electricity is nearly making you get a second mortgage, then you remember the bubble mailer, you open it and find inside this plastic case covered in sticky residue with 5 layers of tape on the end, you still cannot make out the card, you get through the third layer and there is hope you will have it open before dinner, but alas, that last little bit you tore of is stuck to your shirt and then you look down and find a little stuck to the carpet, you eventually get the damm thing open and check the prize out inside, but you say meh and throw it on the pile with the rest.

Which one would you rather :p

Priority's totally wrong, should be opening bubble mailer first and bills later lol, but honestly I have seen to many cards half out of toploaders with no tape on top.

when i send nice cards or any cards i put them in new toploaders and put it into a team bag and stick the team bag seal once its super tight...i cant stand toploaders that have like 5 different types of tape...

If my card arrives safely I couldn't give a shit how much sticky tape residue is on the top loader. I'm more pissed off when they arrive without it and the card is hanging out the end getting corner and edge damage.

And if my day has been that crap and the card is so heavily covered in tape it takes that long to get open and tape goes everywhere and makes a mess.. second Christmas, lols, win.

Again you are missing the point, I am not expecting a new top loader every time, if everyone didn't plaster sticky tape everywhere then all current top loaders floating around in trades and deals would be like new.

Sticky tape on the top or wrapping the top loader in a piece of paper before laying tape everywhere still makes sure the card doesn't move, just takes a bit more care of the top loader.
