Seems like your standard lakers fans are not limited to just the USA, it must be a world wide thing..... Something doesn't go right for them and they carry on like their superstar Kobe Byrant (in other words whine and ***** like a spoilt little brat) even know it's their own fault. If you don't try you hardest you 'aint going to win against a gritty team like the rockets. They put in all the effort and Hustle, got the rebounds, loose ball an didn't turn it over when it mattered. Your team give up (which they have been know to do....alot, loose focus and still expect to win) this is the playoffs and you need to show up every game, you just don't get it handed to you cause you won the last game by 40pts) Your team has the most talent and the best player, but some times they just don't show up. One of youse even said your self I hope the game 5 team gets on the plane....
Its funny how the rockets get no respect from Lakers fans and yet this is going to a game 7, anything can happen now and there is no pressure on the rockets. Great game by the rockets, unlike game 6 where LA played brilliant after the first 6 mins, an dominated!!!
They say that rockets D is over rated against the lakers offence but we've held them under their season avg or on it bar 2 games... Scola the bad arse finally showed up and wasn't tentative and we ended up getting over half our points off our disrespected front court players against the mighty Lakers front court (29pts on 12/29 shooting) with 2 7 footers
OZ- I know this might be a heat of the moment thing, but you can't blame the refs, coaches, fans or league only your own team (besides the commissioner wants A KOBE/BRON FINAL, so you can call that) I haven't seen all the game yet, but I saw most of it and it was pretty fair. Yes Kobe shouldn't have been T'd up for that but the officials have called the same stuff both ways all series...
Bring on game 7, I'm not confident but boys Win it for Yao, T-Mac and Deke.
This either goes down as a good rockets season or a great one, we will know in 1 more game...

if the upset actually happens, would it be the biggest in nba playoff history? given that yao, tmac and deke havent been there... even if lakers win this thing, there are some serious serious q's to be answered re their hunger to win the championship... kobe showed some public frustration during the game today with the machine due to the way brooks was schooling him

Agreed, will e one of the biggest considering that the rockets are short of players of that caibre. Bynum was a complete no show today again, no confidence at all. This would've been the perfect series for him to dominate in and gain some one would think. Farmar played well and scored, kobe just looked like someone who felt sorry for himself.
Excuse me? Spoilt brat, standard fan etc etc.... There's 2 ways to approach a conversation with me and you did both in the same post so which is it? Man up and take a win like that without a personal attack or you're gonna get hell come monday and you know it. Not once this series have I taken a win like that and turned it into something personal with you so if you wanna play that game bud, a simple yes or no answer will do as a reply and then bring on monday....
Heat of the moment is an understatement. I was pissed off from the first quarter and I never point the blame towards the officiating so it must have been pretty bad, find another example in this thread and prove me wrong. Houston played an amazing game today but when you got the kinds of calls going against us like I seen tonight that's gotta go against you no matter how well your opponent is playing against you. Bad calls against you, your heads taken out of the game. It's simple. It's an absoloute joke for an NBA playoff game.
Credit to Houston for coming out strong, they blew us away with their energy, it looked like a game we could get back into at the half. We came out, took the offense right at them, they couldn't stop Pau, we got on a run and they wethered that and kept playing pretty consistent dispite what we were able to do to get it back to a 5 point ball game.
But the fact of the matter is this is one of the worst examples of officiating I've seen in a payofff game in 20 years of watching the NBA.
Yeah that was me. Now all I'm worried about is if that game 5 team is still in LA. No pressure on the Rockets? Anything can happen? You got another demoralising loss coming at you and you know it. Dream on Dreamer...

Dream Respect to the Rockets..seriously.....I didnt expect this series to got to 7, no one did even the Lakers....
But i think the Lakers are playinh way under their ability and the Rockets and Fans all know that if the Lakers Team shows up NO ONE in this LEAGUE can stop them!!!We have some serious Defensive issues, we all know that something thing we gonna need to get sorted if we wanna get to the Conference Finals let alone the NBA FINALS.....

Yeah good point mate. I'm not blaming the officiating entirely for the loss. Houston are showing alot of heart and we did have our opportunities. It just makes a loss like that harder to grasp when there are so many bad calls.
Anyway, I've slept on it. Sorry to Dream for that outburst but I'm not sure how else I'm supposed to reply to that.

Last YR Boston had to 2-7Gamers in the 1ST 2 rounds and were expected to breeze into the Finals and didnt....Tho both these teams are completely different to each other...So lets hoping the Lake Show turns up i dont care if we win by a point or 40!!!!
