Understood and agreed. But the guy is new and he's from China (living in Perth), so English is clearly a second language. Anyway, like I said, I'll leave you guys to it. :v:

Yeah sorry mate I didn't think I was particularly harsh. Not like the number of members who crucify new members when they write anywhere without an introduction thread or accidentally get something wrong.

Anyway it is what it is. We have so many new members daily and in total I'm sure the guy didn't take it like that. Will have a think about it anyway nothing to lose sleep over bud :)
 
Marquis Daniels has agreed to a deal w the C's.....a very handy acquisition...kinda a younger G Hill!! Liking this move a lot!!!
 
Yep - career high 13 ppg last yr and signing for $1.9 mill which is pocket change for 6-8 pts off the bench, very versatile and he'll get off the grass too if he's with the C's. No one will stand for that....
 
the $1.9M bi-annual exception is what they got him for!!!! so cheap for a guy like him... made around $7M last season (which was a bit rich) and indiana didnt exercise their team option to keep him on at that salary for the upcoming season...

the market is thinning considerably now for most of the remaining free agents... once david lee and lamar odom sign, that'll be it for the real impact guys... everyone else will be a side story, obviously theres gonna be a boozer trade pretty soon so it'll be interesting to see what unfolds there.

marquis was prob thinking the same thing and figured "if im gonna be getting less $$$ I may as well try and hook on with a real contender"... nice move all round i reckon

Have to agree. That's cheap money for such a quality rotational player who could easily start on 1/2 the teams in the NBA and be a quality 6th man on the other teams.

I have to say the Spurs and Celtics seem to be the two best teams at luring quality bench players for cheap money.

After seeing what Houston had to throw at Ariza to get him it's laughable how teams like the Spurs and Celts can pick up quality players.

Celts are looking deep now.
 
I just became a fan of the celtics! Lovin this for Quisey hopefully they can win it all...i never thought i'd hear myself saying that
 
I assume she has heals on but with Perk at 7ft she still must be pretty tall. No pics of Rondo who was in the service as well.

Perk doesn't get paid enough for me to change teams LOL

Now if only we can actually get Daniels to sign, work out the BBD saga, get Bowen for nothing but a packet of chips, work out a sign and trade for Blake and have the greatest NBA team in history!

Can't believe Tony Allen is still on this squad.

Latest; Allen rumoured to be going to Indiana, Powe offered a contract by the Cavs and BBD rumoured to be part of a sign and trade with the Nets for Yi.
 
And most of it bull**** too.

The nets are in $ trouble, I highly doubt anyone signs Powe just yet and including Allen as the fodder to the Pacers for Daniels doesn't add up. It will have to be a three team trade to complete it with salaries, tax and roster spots.

But still the rumours keep getting put up online.

We HAVE to move Pruitts contract before it becomes garenteed and Tony Allen too but there isn't much value in those two. Scal might have to be included in any deal with his experience and expiring contract coming up to complete a deal.

Too many sports writers that work out trades based on fantasy basketball rather than real world.
