Telling Someone not to bid on an Item on Ebay

Lol nah, made a mistake all I can do is admit it, apologise, try to resolve it and move on which I think I have done.

Only human!

Tis true. Hope it pans out well for you :)

Oh, and might come a calling for Korver 06/07 Ultimate Collection values. Don't really care as I have them all now and they're not going anywhere, but would be interested :)

Copy of PM sent to other party.
Firstly apologies for being a jerk and acting inappropriately and bidding on an item you wanted.

My suggested solution is to offer it back to you at what it cost.

US $15.13
(Approximately AU $17.89)

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Ended 12-Aug-07 07:34:33 AEST
Postage costs: To Australia -- US $11.95
Other Int'l Postage (see description)
Service to Australia

$15.13 USD, I will wear postage, I will give you my patch which I have now, and sort this out later.

Once again apologies, I did the wrong thing, just trying to make it right.

good stuff man, glad you've seen the error of your ways ...much props for fixing the situation.
I for one have made many a mistake here lol :) *whistles quietly*

that's very nice of you.... well done...

it's the right thing to do....

but then again, the final amount is not too high even if it's PC or pleasure buying, i would suggest some PC collector to pay more to own... coz IMO, if u show people here not to bid, In ebay, there will always be someone who would outbid you, and finally you make less friends telling others not to bid especially when you failed to bid..

I am never hesitant to pay way more than book value for the card I really want.... or would never pay a card that's not in my range...

It's like now many people joined this forum and if some people try to restrict new comers with players' limitation, i think it's wrong, because this is very big community today...

Regarding ebay, I think less than $50 cards should not even be mentioned in player collection or set collection, we would spend $50 for just having a nice dinner..., i am not discounting the hobby, or valuating hobby, this is just creating too much heat from nothing... (in this case, if you tell not to bid, maybe you should agree, but i still don't find the just of telling others not to bid, instead of increasing your own bid, sorry i may be wrong)..

Nowadays, many people collect from many perspectives, there's no right or wrong perception on player collectors vs set collectors vs special collectors.

just my opinion.......

Whats the deal

If I collect "Insert player here" Can I tell other forum users not to bid on a card I want of him?

I just bid on a patch, and someone from the forums is saying he was watching it, and to quote them "well i can tell you that,if you do that to a few player collectors around here, they wont be happy

cheers"

Is that fair?

I can bid on what I want can;t I??

Go to town on it it I say !
Gloves off when it comes to eBay.....it may be frustrating but no-one here should tell you not to bid !!!

Then again......finding out about the auction from someone else and THEN bidding is not on
Hope it all gets sorted ;)
