Telling Someone not to bid on an Item on Ebay

Whats the deal

If I collect "Insert player here" Can I tell other forum users not to bid on a card I want of him?

I just bid on a patch, and someone from the forums is saying he was watching it, and to quote them "well i can tell you that,if you do that to a few player collectors around here,they wont be happy

Is that fair?

I can bid on what I want can;t I??

If you are bidding on the card for your PC then go for it.

What gets you in trouble is outbidding someone and then trying to sell it to them for profit.

Go for your life Have had a few bidding wars with people on here which I guess is a little annoying as it ends up costing each other more, but in the end if they wanted it more or you wanted it more, good luck to the winner!

Well he collects the player, I collect Patches, I already have the card but this has a nicer patch, I usually try to upgrade like a 2 colour patch to a 3 or 4 if I see the same card, I like colours!

I hear the story goes something like this...the member contacted u to aquire your card..and he told you he was also watching one the same on ebay, then within a few mins u had bid on the one he told you about on ebay ....if this is the case then im sorry but you are seriously a *&%% and i believe a longtime meber here over a newbie.

If the basis of the forum is that I can't bid on a card because a "longtime member" says so, then please, tell me now!

I am constantly bidding against Dave for all the Shaq cards out there. Some day I think we should have an agreement so we can save some money and go 50/50 on the winnings.

thats not the basis at all mate but IF and I say "if" the memeber told you about the auction and that he was watching it and then after that u went and bid on it...then dont expect them to be happy about it....I wouldnt be.
