Interesting to see that the Greg Williams is Norm Smith Medal card #15.
I wonder how many the set will be - if you go in chronological order, 1995 was the 17th year of the medal being awarded.
Pretty sure you can see the medal on itNew preview, Norm Smith Medalist inserts numbered /65. A great idea but strange to have a medal card without an actual picture of the medal itself on the card.

Does it bother anyone that the numbering isn't straight?Screenshots
Not a bad looking card but a shot with the player holding the norm smith would have been preferable. I noticed the numbering too, it does look a bit crooked. Also looked like the player was wearing a nappy on first reveal. I'm more bothered about an accurate set but the Williams numbering NSM15 (being the 17th winner) raises concerns whether all winners are included.
I would say Aryes will have a single card and that should make williams #16 so its either the numbers got stuffed or one of the players didnt want to be a part of it. So most likely someone didn't want to be a part of it.Interesting to see that the Greg Williams is Norm Smith Medal card #15.

Totally agree, before any money is handed over I am going to want to see a checklist. Lets hope a checklist is released earlier than the night before the release date.
If I was Cardzone and sunshine collectables or any other big retailer I would be pissed, they spend hundreds of thousands of dollars each year buying stock then don’t get offered this at wholesale, if They told select they would no longer buy any of their series select would be finished, who would pick up the slack? They might buy some, then wait for it to be sold out, and advertise at a higher price to make a profit later down the track.

So why doesn’t select just sell all there releases through there website? Cuts out everyone and they get 100% profit"Who would pick up the slack?"
All the people who buy cards from Sunshine and Cardzone.
I don't know to be honest. Maybe they are moving a lot of stock through breakers now. There's a chain of beneficiaries in the industry who Select are cutting out in this release. On one hand without wholesale, we are paying potentially more for the product (assuming a larger profit for Select) and on the other hand, there will be no cheap stock sold in bulk and potentially getting dumped at discount and devaluing the set. That is of course, unless Select don't sell as much as planned and decide to sell in bulk for less down the track to Sunshine or Cardzone. So why doesn’t select just sell all there releases through there website? Yea that’s the way it’s heading box breaks is what they are targeting no doubt, and everyone will be doing it soon because they are cutting out the resellers, might have to do it myself soon the way the hobby is heading, the more it goes that way the more it will turn into NBA With lots of different releases each year with a lower print run that suits breakers, I have seen the trend the last 2 years with prices bombing quicker and quicker the resellers days are certainly numbered.I don't know to be honest. It will certainly put pressure on the remaining physical card shops to keep their doors open if distribution is taken away.Yea that’s the way it’s heading box breaks is what they are targeting no doubt, and everyone will be doing it soon because they are cutting out the resellers, might have to do it myself soon the way the hobby is heading, the more it goes that way the more it will turn into NBA With lots of different releases each year with a lower print run that suits breakers, I have seen the trend the last 2 years with prices bombing quicker and quicker the resellers days are certainly numbered.
