Well guys I called up yesturday about getting the damn PS3 fixed and the dude doesnt accept credit card and I really can't afford it at the moment just payed car rego and insurance last week so Im poor till 2 weeks time so I will have to hang on that little bit longer without playing :(

Well Telstra finaly upgraded my plan so im un capped finaly!! Should be on for a bit tonight and over the weekend!

Guys, whats the deal on the Grizzlies owner??

I sent him a deal for Vince Carter, because I noticed he doesn't use Carter well (only 4 PPG in 4 games, he's only hit 7/30 shots with him), I sent him Joe Johnson 88 + Roy Hibbert 72 for Vince Carter 81 + Marc Gasol 78.

Anyway he accepted the deal, but then he played a game against Indiana and after losing, quit the league (seemingly because he's lost 4 straight and doesn't like his team).

Any way of finding out whether he's gone for good, or simply quit out of frustration etc? Looks like the chances of my trade going through now are pretty slim, which is annoying :(

Well he had already tried to trade Vince (81) for Tmac (73) and then Vince (81) for JR (71). Not sure why he left, he still hasn't quit aus n nz 1 but maybe that is because he is 15-12 and in the playoffs.

Yeah I looked at his 4 losses, 3 of them were within like 5-10 points or so. Must have been frustrated. Yeah I saw those trades, and discussed with Ben that they were sus, because why would you trade down.

Then when I looked at his team stats on the 2K site I realized he just can't use Carter, and obviously didn't care about ratings.

Now that he's gone, does that mean our trade won't be allowed to go through?

Unlikely, the series is still in round 1 and when round 2 does eventually start it will probably be active for another 3 weeks

Any people here interested in NBA Fantasy leagues? I'm in the IFBL and WPBL which are both similar and detailed leagues. They run all year round and incorporate pretty much everything from the real NBA. 30 teams in the league (You have a real NBA team but there are allowances to relocate once you prove you're reliable and active).
Teams have a 56 million dollar salary cap. Obviously trading including future draft picks and salary cap hits. Draft every year around the time of the NBA draft. Free Agency opens just after the draft where there are bidding wars. Similar signing conditions of the NBA eg. I drafted Paul George and Avery Bradley in the draft this year, i've signed them both to 2 year contracts and then i will have a further 2 years after that where i will get a rookie Team Option to sign them again, or i can decline the option and extend for upto 3 years.
You can waive and buyout players. etc etc very detailed but easy to understand website that allows you to manage your team mostly by using dropdown options and submitting.

Anybody interested in something like this? Perfect for those that love their NBA but get frustrated at how limited fantasy leagues like Yahoo and ESPN are. League is always full and there is a waiting list to nab a team but we recently deleted the entire list to start from fresh so now would be the time to act. I can link anyone to the league rules etc if they are interested in looking into it any further.

You around at all tonight Digeze? Should be o from around 9pm my time, so bout 9.30 yours. I'd love to be in a decent Fantasy league but just couldn't find the time for it!

Forgot to mention that the IFBL, which i've been in for 2 years, currently consists of about 8-10 Aussies with the rest being Americans. I got Andrew/ballsout/itch3scrot into it last year and he wasn't even a bball nut like me...before i knew it he was messaging me in November already talking about the 2010 College NBA prospects lol.
