Yeah AUS n NZ took ages. It was 1 minute to pick which was way to long. Only needed it to be 30 seconds. Only had half the users turn up for the draft & a fair few went offline after they drafted their starting line up. So we lost 10+ minutes each round to offline teams.

Also... Digeze can you please let me know how to access the Free Agents. I can't figure it out.

exactly.

i'm more keen to get settled on a draft time when season 1 is at least in the finals if not nearing finish - then have a week or two strategy to look at what draft order is and who we should pick.

then pick!

i'm also saying that because in 2 weeks uni finals will be over which means all uni students here will be free pretty much 24/7 :)

Just gotta be careful about having too much time between setting the draft time (randomising the lottery) and having the actual draft time. Last time it screwed up because people quit their team (some by accident) after the draft had been set and it pushed the draft time back 14 hours. We need to set it with enough time for people to figure out who to draft with their picks but not too much time as accidents will happen and i don't want another botched draft where everyone turns up abnd it doesnt start.

How about a weeks window frame then? That sounds like it's pretty good. Or even 5 days.

Not anytime soon. Gonna watch the Lost finale with the Mrs off the media centre....then probably watch State of Origin off the IQ. Possibly available after that but will probably be late by then.

Are you at home during the day at all over the next couple days?

No worries at all mate, i watched the finale of Lost last night, i thought it was pretty good! Forgot state of origin was on may have to give that a watch tonite. Yeah mate no uni for the rest of the week so will be around, jus let me know when you are up for a game...still got a lot of study but will be up for one :thumbsup:

Been absent for a long time i know!
Tafe/uni has taken over my life with other things!

Is the season i was in still going on?
My semester is nearly over!

Anyway i understand fully if the season does not exist anymore/ you passed my team on or whatever, just trying to find out what the go is..

Nothing has happened mate. The season still exists and is winding down closer to the playoffs.

Your team still exists and hasn't been taken over. The volume of games you played before your hiatus meant that even now you have still played more games than some members.

I wouldn't worry about it mate. I have semester break coming up in 2 weeks and a bit as well. If you have any games not played by deadline maybe they will be simmed but I'd think you'll still be able to play in the league when break is upon us.

Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals complete.

Boston raced out to a dominating lead killing it on the fast break and completely frustrating me trying to set up any sort of rhythm on offense. Midway through the 3rd quarter Boston held a 24 point lead. A couple of quick steals and fastbreak points to Orlando then sparked a 13-0 run. The clawback continued until Orlando finally hit the lead with 49 seconds left in the game. With the shotclock turned off Orlando got the ball into JJ Redick off the inbound and was intentially fouled, going to the line to potentially put the Magic up by 4. First time i've ever been to the free throw line with JJ so wasn't sure exactly what sort of release i needed and subsequently missed the first one. Hit the 2nd free throw to go up by 3 with maybe 10 seconds left.

From the side ball Boston attempted a 3 from the far corner which was pretty open, think it was Rasheed Wallace. The ball bounced over the rim and headed for the opposite corner. I chased with Vince to grab the rebound but it ended up bouncing all the way to Paul Pierce who was just standing in the corner and nailed the 3 pointer to tie it with 4 seconds left. Off my sideball i got it to Vince and kind of got stuck, threw a heave but the game was into OT.

OT was a bit of a hair pulling affair for me. Going back to the opening play of the 1st quarter i attempted an ally-oop to Dwight who caught it and then clanked it off the rim on a wide open dunk. Now the first play in OT was a lead pass to Dwight for a wide open dunk which he clanked off the rim. My second play in OT also found Dwight open and he clanked the dunk. (3 clanked dunks in the game and two to open overtime). If that didn't hurt enough Vince also missed a wide open layup a couple of plays latter that just rolled off the rim. From that point it just felt like it wasn't ment to be. Final score 120-115. Look forward to game 2 and hopefully not allowing such a massive runaway in the 1st half :)

Nice game summary mate, it was a good game...the massive turn around by you was nice, didnt know what to do! Looking forward to the next game aswell!
