Just doesnt look or sit quite right

Don't get too carried away, Miami are the team to beat by a long way. The lakers gained nothing getting howard, he is no better or worse than Bynum, IMO I thought Bynum had more to offer offensively. It is an interesting mix they have to mould together, an up tempo point guard, an aging Kobe, mettaworldheadcade, Howard and gasol. A totally different look for Nash as he will be playing half court bball which he never has. But Miami are miles in front of everybody, they just won the title and got better!!

I thought you said the Heat pulled it out there a*se Steve and they won't win again, ha ha.

Yes youre right, my bad. Thats a championship bench right there.....:lol::lol: really?!

Did you watch last years finals? Miami Heat copped crap all year for their bench and rightly so. Or were you the only guy telling everyone that the Heat had a championship bench???

It's no good having a deep team. That will only take you so far with the super teams being put together. You can only have 5 blokes on the court.
You need a 5 that will beat Miami's 5. Benches are not the most important anymore. Of course you need production from someone on the bench in each game. A different parrot stepped up each game for the Heat last year in the Finals. Guys that EVERYBODY had drawn a line through.

I thought Miami were lucky a few teams fell over at the wrong time but they are so deep now, it's gonna be a cracker of a season. 3 teams could win in both conferences.

From Kobe's Facebook account

Well, it looks like Superman has found a home. I wish nothing but the best for Big Bynum. I hope he follows what was a great season last year with an even better one next year. I know LA is excited about the deal and rightfully so. The Lakers landed a piece that will hopefully carry the franchise long after I'm gone. I have spoken to Dwight Howard already and we are locked and loaded to bring back the title. Wow, what a summer Jimmy and Mitch have had so far. Unreal! I'm focused on our semifinal game vs Argentina but I had to pause for a few to send you my thoughts, in case you were curious..

what do you think of the package Orlando are getting back? i hope those draft picks pan out other wise there where much better deals on the table. suprised Magic didnt try to move hedo as well.

If those picks are Lottery Picks then the Magic don't get them so the chances of them panning out are pretty slim.

I agree, those picks will most likely be from 15 - 28 somewhere. You can still get something decent but probably no franchise guy. Orlando will be looking for top 3 picks in the next 3 seasons no doubt.

Lakers got better yes BUT they still need a bench

Current Bench

Chris Duhon G AVG 3.8
Earl Clark F AVG2.7
Jamison F AVG 17.2
Murphy F/C AVG 3.2
morris G AVG 2.4
Ebanks F AVG 4.0
Hill C AVG 5.0

C'Mom let's get serious about the Lakers...Conference contenders yes, Title Winners I think not...The Bucks on the other hand, nah just kidding.
