The San Antonio Spurs today announced that they have waived forward Josh Howard. Howard was originally drafted 29th overall in the first round of the 2003 NBA Draft by the Dallas Mavericks where he played for seven seasons (2003-10). He has also suited up for the Washington Wizards (2010-11), Utah Jazz (2011-12) and the Minnesota Timberwolves (2012-13). NBA.com
So before we get into the extension, I hear you're on a mission to bring the NBA to Australia. Andrew Bogut: "Yeah, I mean it's the only place left that hasn't had any NBA interaction, and that's sad in my opinion. I know it's not a country with a billion people or preferred sponsorships or whatever it is, but I think the time is coming that we deserve an NBA game there for the fans. What a lot of people don't know is that on the NBA international League Pass, I think Australia is No. 1 in the world I believe, outside of the states. And I believe they're No. 1, I think, in international merchandise sales. So the NBA is making a lot from Australia, and it'd be a pretty good thing for them to have a game out there in the coming years. "I think it's something that should be looked at. The NBA is really trying to globalize the game, and really selling that. I've been to China twice now, and the message is 'We love this game, and the NBA is global.' Well I believe Australia and New Zealand haven't had that experience yet, so it'd definitely be a great experience. And look, I'm not going to be selfish. Even if it's not the Golden State Warriors, so be it. It'd be nice if I would go, but I just want the fans to experience an NBA game in Australia"
1 more sleep!! I'm pumped that bulls play heat first game but must be hard for the bulls players to watch them raise the banner and get thier rings. Hopefully other way round to start next season and good luck to all your teams. Big NBA year ahead for clippers, rockets, warriors and nets will be very interesting to see how these teams go. Very happy with the bulls preseaon and great to see D Rose back, bring it on.

I'm still hurting from game 5 2011 that loss hurt, but I don't think I can understand being so close to a title and then ray hit that 3. (sorry to open old wounds spurs fans) I'm not sure what to think of heat this year but if WOW is healthy i guess it's up to the rest of the top tiered teams who got a bit better to take it from them. I really like the spurs in the west, deep consistent team. Bulls v Spurs finals I'll pick.
