People smiling and waving cause they're on camera behind commentators never cease to make me laugh and smfh. Yes, you are on camera. Yes you now look like a moron
Mate.... surely you HAVE to look at it positively.
The Spurs NEEDED this win, OKC just wanted it! I don't think they were expected to win the first Spurs home game. They only need to win ONE at SAS and win all at home!
They managed to absolutely rattle the Spurs in the first half! Something which I have not seen since the game Bynum out rebounded the whole Spurs team (nearly). Even the, OKC did it and had the 9 point lead without KD and WB really getting going properly. KD still got himself some points sure, but missed a lot more than normal, which possible saved us!
The only fear I have for OKC.... the Spurs played (imo) their absolute worst of the season in that first half, and a portion of the 3rd.... yet the Thunder couldn't put them away! I doubt they will get that sort of opportunity from us again, so the away win they need is going to be much tougher from here.
Ahhhhhh but you're looking at it from a Spurs fan perspective, not a Thunder fan perspective.
Yes, the Spurs NEEDED it, but I don't care lol...... it would have been MASSIVE for us to take game 1 and we were looking good to take it, but then it just all fell apart.
So I come home knowing that I recorded the game today and I get pumped to watch it. Then Dad says the Foxtel Box f'ed up so everything on the planner got deleted!! Aw well, replay is on at 8:30
Man...... I'm shattered we couldn't pull this off after being up 9 at the end of the 3rd. Played a great 3rd quarter and then forgot how to play in the third; think our small lineup killed us. Should of went with Perk and Ibaka inside.
"Among them was head coach Scott Brooks admitting to making a mistake by keeping forward Serge Ibaka, the runner-up in the NBA Defensive Player of the Year balloting, on the bench in the fourth quarter. That’s when the Spurs scored 39 points and shot 12 of 16, after the Thunder held San Antonio to just 16 points in the third. Brooks said he’ll beat himself up over not putting his defensive ace back in the game, while explaining how sidelining Ibaka seemed the right idea at the time. After all, Brooks said, keeping Ibaka out and going with a smaller lineup worked in the previous playoff series against the defending champion Mavericks and the Lakers. â€I think every decision you make, if it doesn’t work out, you say, ‘Why did you do that?â€â€™ Brooks said. â€And I’m with you on that. I wish I would’ve played Serge last night.â€"
wow...it was the lebron and wade show!!! ---WADE more so in the 4th...if it hadnt been for garnetts awesome game the celts would have been done by 40...as much as i hate the c's its a shame to see ray allen really struggle, such a class act but a shadow of himself!! great to see the whingey one aka pierce have a shit game, couldnt buy a shot! rondo needs to keep his head in the game and stop making bone head plays like shoving players into the camera men and getting a tech! ---garnetts tech and docs were a little harsh i thought...if miami keeps getting good performances from the bench well it could be a short series...i can see this series getting more physical and the refs are going to call it tight!
