Official 2011-2012 Playoff thread

Until SAS can take one away in OKC then the series hasn't gone anywhere.... If SAS can pinch one in OKC then thats just about it....

They've got two great chances coming up.

Very happy SAS are up 2 zip. OKC is a furnace though so it would be huge to grab game 3.

OKC big 3 scored 88pts today and still lost, amazing really.

to be honest i cant see how okc can win a game, durant, harden and westbrook played great but they just dont have enough offense. Im sure they will probably win another but they are all going to have to have mid 30 points each or sa has a real bad game and they had their bad game in game 1 and still got the w. Will be tough for okc but they are not going to beat the spurs over 7 with a 2-0 gap.

Spurs played flawless! the execution was so good is was scary, if they can keep playing like that NO BODY is stopping em from winning it this year!

Really behind OKC cause i love KD but they look very confused.. they need to build something when they go back home, get some sort of momentum.

Imagine how many points Durant would score if he had a point guard who actually passed the ball??? ;)

Gotta love those Spurs! had to put up with live scores on the mobile at work but I am enjoying watching the replays on the new 59" HD Plasma... Next season I'm hooking league pass up to that fucker...

Watching the Spurs play perfect team basketball is a thing of beauty.... How good was the first half of the third quarter

Wow...... I was filthy with our play through almost 3 quarters. Game 1 we were closing out real good on their 3pt shooters, this game seemed we focused more on the paint; not sure that was such a good idea TBH.

I said before this series started the Spurs are one of the only teams that worried me, and this is why. They just have so many weapons, they can go inside, outside and have guys that can also create their own shot. Very tough to guard against that and score, especially when you're not a half-court team.

Well, look forward to the next two being in OKC and seeing if we can tie the series up. Go OKC!!!

Wow, nice run down, It's clever and I haven't seen it before. It's really an ace up your sleeve and I can't wait to see how OKC responds at home.

Never seen it done before!? Wow! This has been going on for a long long time haha

It is not so much the 2-0 scoreline that makes me think they Spurs are going to take it, more so the way they seem to have OKC under control. The way they adjusted since the first half of game 1 is a thing of beauty!

I would hate for OKC to not get any wins though, because that would put a bad ending on there excellent season!

Bass has 2 more rebounds than the entire Heat team 2 min into the 2nd quarter. Got a feeling Heat will get spanked because... well because they are mentally weak.

ATTENTION CELTICS

Shane Battier stands in the corner, waits for the ball to shoot a 3
That's ALL HE DOES

lol

SB is there for his defence, one of the best all round glue men in the game.

RR is unstoppable at this stage, I'd go as far as to say RR is the only one playing at NBA standard.
Miami didn't turn up for this one.
Not a rebound for LJ in the first half. Wade wow.
Bobcats would give Miami a run today.

Both teams are playing terrible, RR is the difference.
Boston 3pt% is zero.
If another Celtic steps up, this game is over.
But if Wade or James start playing, the game could be turned round. Only 7 pts down at the half.

Sounds like another shit eastern confrence game!! Impressive numbers from rondo at the half, how good this guy can be if he can develop a jump shot....

Well his defence hasn't been shit this half. So apart from that, he stands in the corner until someone has to switch off him to help on Lebron, or forgets to see him camo hidden in the corner there and waits for a 3, it's predictable.
That's what having Chalmers and Battier on at the same time does I guess.
