The woman claiming she was punched by Ben Te'o has been arrested. Katie Lewis made a 4 hour statement to Police this morning on the assault allegations. It's believed she was arrested on an unrelated bail act warrant and will face court this afternoon.

Cop what? I dislike Weidler as much as every other league fan but this doesn't mean anything. She was charged with an unrelated driving charge that has nothing to do with the assault case.

I doubt it...Melbourne is usually up the top and Hoffman has been no automatic.

Essentially, that makes Carney now the 4th best 5/8 in NSW... Maloney, Reynolds, Sutton...

In his defense though, from hearing him speak before i'm pretty sure Tonie Carroll is borderline mentally disabled.

He coached a team in the local Brisbane U/18 comp last year and was vile with his abuse of his own team and opposition and it really reflected through his players who were dirty

He never seemed like the most classy guy on or off the field...

I know some people are saying junior sports are becoming too soft now, where every kid has to be a winner etc. Which is maybe true. But i really hate abusive parents or coaches. This is an under 10's team, let the kids just enjoy their footy for christ's sake.

Been there!, lost my best players to more competitive teams, all kids want to be winners but there's always someone who want's to build a Dynasty at someone else's expense.
I helped build up a club from from the ashes, a club that was a Clayton Cup winner when it meant something a club that had a Kangaroo in Paul Dunn, a club that won 5 Premierships from 1972 to 1980 but forgot all about their Juniors, by the time my son was ready to make his mark the club had imploded, something I still get a little emotional about!.
