Just move the right thumbstick which will bring up the menu....there should be a load option straight away.

If it happens to be blacked out (it was for me the first time) then i went to a different screen before trying to load. I clicked on game modes > Association.....then tried the right thumbstick and the load option was now clickable.

Normally it should always be accessible from startup.

Got it. Just waiting to see how many people on here would be up for a league before i go and fork out more money to renew my Xbox Live subscription...this is the only game that i would actually play online.
 
used to play 2k online a lot, costs like $14.95 for a month , i got like 2 x 1 month gold cards since by 360 had the 3-red-rings problem after it came back.

I used to get a lot of quitters when playing if i was flogging them by 20+ or so:lol:
 
Got my copy on the PS3. Man the graphics are sweet. Game play is pretty good and I really like the video's they play before the matches. Havn't played online yet so this weekend it will get a hiding.
 
Has anyone downloaded any Player DNA yet (2K9)?

I (yesterday) downloaded MJ, Stockton, Kemp, umm, oh yeah, and I made Barkley!

Was so awesome, I played 90's East V 90's West (went West). Lost by about 12 I think.

I actually saved my rosters, but I think I need to tone down Chuck, 5/7 triples??? lol.

In the Player DNA, there's heaps of players people have made. I saw a couple of OLD School players, and then some from the 90's then some of today's rookies that were missed out.

On a side note, has anyone had a successfull 2K Roster Update? I thought it was supposed to update when ever something in the NBA happens? Eddie Jones is still a Mav on my 2K....???

I got the new update today so I'll check it soon.
 
Dont mean to be a lazy bastard and not go threw all the previous posts but expect for the upgraded roster is it worth paying $100 to upgrade from 2k8 to 2k9?
 
I upgrade every year. I throw the previous version on eBay 3-4 weeks before the new version hits the shelves which usually returns around $30 (this year i forgot and didn't list it until last week)

i got live 09....have u come across that sprite thing in the practice mode? u gotta enter in a "sprite code" to get super dunks?!?! wtf?!?!

any1 sorted this thing out?
 
Has anyone had 2K9 download a Living Roster yet?

For the first time yesty, mine downloaded one.

It doesnt change current created players, or teams, but it does stop you from editing those players' names.
 
What settings does everyone play on?

I've been playing on Pro, I think, on 8 minute quarters. So far on like 7-3 for the season.

Trying to make it as realistic (as in close to REAL NBA Stats) as I can, but for the life of me, I can't...

Anyone use sliders?

Yeah I know where your coming from, I'm obviously using the Knicks and have to face reality with a crap roster but I want to at least have close games against those lower ranked teams but for the life of me can't.
 
Do you flog or get flogged?

It's not normal for Devin Harris to average 15 dimes a game, when VC only averages 23, and Boone struggles to get 4 boards a game...

Started another season with Portland, Runy Fernandez my new dime-disher!!! Oden & Aldridge crash the boards. But still not happy with the gameplay with regards to realism with the NBA.

I want to play 12 min quarters, but I reckon both teams would get 200 points easily!!!
