sorry for bringing this one back to life... but couldnt resist the temptation of knowing

bloody hell some of the figures u guys spend on cards is amazing (to me it shows dedication lol)

did my tally and it was $11058 in 2 years

and with the calculating of the figure. i used a program similar to excel and just sorted the figure column so all the negatives were together, than just did a sum for them once they were separated from the positive figures...

The last post was only 3 weeks ago. It isn't that long ago. No need to apologise. I don't know how much money I spent on cards in the last 12 months. Pretty much all of my pocket money.

I did some rough sums for just over a year and came at just a tad over $2K...roughly what I expected and not bad considering im a bloody student

That is how I justify it lol. I stopped collecting in 1995 resumed in 2008. So needed a a period to catchup lol.

Collecting is FUn so as long as it doesn't effect your quality of living it's all good

I knew i had spent a bit lately but i think i seriously need to chill out!

Since the last time i checked 26/2/10 till now 18/9/10 i've amounted a stagering $15,782.95 (a mix of Aud & US$)

My last few purchase's were the ones that knocked it up there.
Remember i did sell the PMG green for $3k aswell as a few other MJ's so the real spend number would more likely be around the $5k mark i'd say. Still a crazy amount on cards in 6 months though

Nice one Nick, lol thats why I collect Detlef would rather spend $15000+ on other things more so than cards but anyways since getting back into card collecting my paypal which is only used to buy and sell cards here is the totals since iv been back into collecting July 2009, also i had 7 months away from collecting without a single purchase F knows what it would have been, but still im happy with only spending just under $900 on this hobby in the last 14 months!!!

from 9/7/2009-19/10/2010 Spent $3697.52 Payments received: $2735.73 both USD and AUSD

Its outrageous when you actually look at what you've spent. Its all good when you spend a couple of hundred here and there but you don't realise the excesses of it till you add it all up
