Its pretty good timing because on the 21st of February 2009 i started to keep ALL of my paypal receipts to see how much i spend over a year. I told verse1 about it yesty and he's posed the question today in his thread.

I have only done the monetary value of money spend, not the amount of cards...so here it is, a years worth of ebay and pippens

Ditto to that quote. Out of interest. How many of the "big spenders" are married with a mortgage and kids? Not many I should imagine. I'd be shot, drawn and quartered if I spent half of that. LUCKY BUGGERS

but most my games and dvds are bought in store. so... i think it is mainly cards.

im not married but i have a mortgage and a jetski and my gf earns a sh!tload more than me but im comfortable. I got back into cards just before i met the gf but it wasnt big, she's seen me progress my spending slowly, it wasnt all at once.

isnt it! i nearly fainted, i was adding it up on my calculator (i didnt use paypal itself, just the receipts) and i kept thinking "dont get to 7k, oh ok dont get to 8k, umm ok dooont get to 9...d'oh please dont get to 10..... 11.....so much relief it stopped at 11!

neither did i but i did! i think everyone should have a look at what they spend over a year. it will either curb your spending or liberate you and set you free....im already free though, as soon as i dropped 350 on a card i was freed!

btw all these pale in comparision to durian who i once watched spend $25,000 in a week!
