ya right mate,davey is a freak,he played well down back,glad we have his brother at the bombers,and is it just me or is travis johnston one of the lazyest footballers playing afl,he wont chase,hes got so much talent,and he wont even use it,just my 2c

wallace i agree with everything you said. TJ is very Lazy and it kills almost every Demon supporter because he has the potential to be elite footballer in this leauge because he has probally one of the best right foot kicks in the game. He has so much potential being a number 1 pick but his laziness in chasing and tackling has stopped him from becoming a superstar in the AFL. This guy came 5th in the brownlow one year so he can play but he is to up and down and doesnt apply himself to do the team stuff.
Davey in that last quarter i think he got 12 kicks and a goal and all of his disposals were effective and he was still out running anyone that was chasing him even after 3 quarters of fast football.
i heard a rumour Alywn is looking to play with his brother but its just a rumour at this stage.

Well i totally agree with trapa being the laziest player in the league!!when he does decide to play (which is very rare) he is in the top 5 players in the AFL..its so frustrating to watch him coz you dont know how he goin to play..i remember watchin him when he used to play for chelsea why back in 96..he was lazy back then..so i suppose no of his coaches picked it up....

The Davey brother rumour has come up trust me

Pickett has been suspended and his future at the MFC is un certain after drinking befour a game the following day. I hope he tries to get back into the team and regain some fitness.

i heard it too.. and can confirm aaron has been to many bomber games to watch his sibling.. they'll both be bombers in time, not that I really want aaron

Now I have found this thread you'll get help! Big Dees supporter here, been to 6/8 games and going today!
Like you, I saw NO positive in any games until we got done by freo by 9 goals...and trust me, I usually leave a game, no matter how much we lose by saying, 'oh but this was good'.
Hopefully first win today! If not, next week! Go Dees!

well, they've been over achieving for the last few years, time to make up for what their list really represents.. sad thing is, i think daniher is gone, but it's not his fault.. injuries dont help either

Todays game was a smoke screen. The roos played terribly and yet they still won. The only reason we got close was because we somehow switched on for a quarter!
As for daniher, love the guy, but unfortunately it's not simply injuries to blame for this. We have been running the same game plan for 9 rounds now, and it hasn;t changed. I'm all for the 'ain't broke, don;t fix it' theory, but surely if it is broke you have to fix it? I would have thought 0 and 4 was broke, let alone 0 and 8 and now 0 and 9. With the list we have Daniher should have us in the top 10 even with injuries, but now even with players back, we have no will.

I feel for the dees.. they've never done us wrong, so I don't like seeing them like this.. especially when a former bomber is at the helm

Just wondering, how can you say that we have been 'over achieving' in the past few years? We have a great list! How is finishing 7th last year overachieving? 7th was solid and year before was fine too.

1) by making finals
2) by winning more than 10 games

dont get me wrong, you have some great players, but they're out numbered by the bad.. nothing wrong with over acheiving

Well... I know I'm bored, but I don't want to waste time running through the MFC team list.. though hey, if it helps, the EFC have plenty of them as well

I think we have a number of players that are definately not all rounders, but have something that they give to the team and that's why we played well enough to get to the finals.
As for the Dons, your list in my opinion at season start was a top 6 side easy. If you don;t make the finals this year, extreme under achievement!
