If you read his defence, you'd see, among other things, there was NO conclusive footage of him BITING Slater, and a doctor who looked at the ear said it wasn't consistant with a bite-mark, more like a scratch which could've EASILY been inflicted by David Stagg's "grab", or the grate he was pushed onto. But yeah, he's a Bulldog, so "he MUST'VE bitten him..."

Since when have trials counted toward a suspension? What a joke, he probably would have only played one of the trials anyway.

It's actually been happening for over 25 years, in 1986 Mario Fenech signed up with an English club specifically to beat the suspension during the Kangaroo tour and who can forget Steve Roach's attempt to play in the 1988 Grand Final by being signed by a UK club at the same time as Balmain, mind you he had already agreed to play for Warrington before being suspended, nice try, no cigar.

Before tonight, I would have said maybe.

But the grub went and bit Jason King in Game 1 of the finals, and caused a stink.

LOL. The grub has form. Tis a pity Greenberg has been trying so hard for 4 years to clean up Dog-town. Should have gone for the ARLC job a little harder.

considering Stagg grabbed Slater 5minutes before the incident, im pretty sure Slater would have known when he got bit... unless there is mouth cam you will never see the bite....
