John Ireland Caricature Trading Cards - The Eagle Has Landed!

Another step forward today. John Ireland has completed Greg Chappell's print. As I'm reusing Sir Richard Hadlee's caricature from Ireland's book, I requested Chappell's image be drawn in a similar style. It's come up trumps!!

If anyone can provide a great price on Ultra Pro 50 count boxes - I will need 1000 of those. I am also looking for 200 Top Loaders for the Signature Cards.

The goal is to have these ready to sell before Christmas, so time to get the skates on! Scary and exciting times ahead. Wish me luck!!!
 
Thanks for the kind words Matty and Russ. Yes, Mrs. Naz is okay with it all. This year I followed through with my commitment to get her the car she badly needed and this frees me up to pursue my project without feeling I've put my wants in front of my family. As fate would have it, I managed to get a slight pay increase at work by taking on a team lead role and whilst it's just an interim position, it's put me in a good spot to try and do everything I need to.

I'm just looking forward to completing what I set out to do all those many months ago. I hope the printer does the set justice and I'm hopeful you guys will find the end result to be good value for money.

If anyone is after specific numbered sets, feel free to send me a PM. Obviously with only 1 of each number and some requests already in the pipeline, I won't be able to help everyone out, but will do my best. Later on I'll publish a list of what numbers are still available and open it up to first in best dressed.
 
Been to see the printer. Will be able to provide digital numbering on both the base header card and the signature plus certificate cards. Still working on a few design issues.

I have also finalised the sale price from the original projected cost. It is a tad higher, but I'm sure most will agree, the prices are still quite reasonable ....

Base Set (900 only) - $45
Auto Set (100 only) - $200

I have pledged to 2 x signed sets and a base set.
I am selling more cards on ebay at the moment and intend to buy some more sets from Naz.

Naz you are a star. Really looking forward to seeing the finished projects.
You have two all time superstars in the sigs set. One is finest cricketer to come out of New Zealand the other a true Aussie legend!

It's an inspiration to show when people have a dream about achieving a goal that if they stick to it and pursue it then they can achieve what they want.
