DVD Collections :) , What have you brought lately?

The overdub is nothing great, it's not even Jet's voice. But the films are classics! I remember watching the 1st one on a late night SBS Cult Classic movie!

Looking to get the rest of Jet's movies on DVD now. I know there's a few, but it'll make one hell of a collection!

Does anyone know if Fearless is subtitled (out in Cinema's now).

the sooner you discard the rubbish dubs and just read subs the better, i know you kinda miss some of the action cos your reading all the time but its better than a shitty bad american voice dubbed over Jet. good old SBS hey, thats where i got my love of kung fu movies from too!

dunno about fearless being subbed but id guess its dubbed in cinemas, either way go see it man it ****in rocks!

heres some great jet movies i reommend:

1) his first movie The Shaolin Temple. lots of fighting and its all gold, he and the other guys he fights do some crazy shit.

2) The swordsman : one of jets all time best.

3) Fong Sai Yuk 1&2: good mix of comedy and fighting in these ones.

4) Tai Chi Master: this is when jet started to use a lot of wires in his fight scenes, still great movie though.

5) Fist of Legend: his best movie of all i reckon, fight scenes are ****in AMAZING.

some are hard to find, especially a decent copy (as theres millions of shitty pirates floating around) but well worth it.

yeah i think jet was like 18 when he did shaolin temple. i dont know if shoalin kids is a sequel, but it came right after ST. its a decent one, i have a really crap copy on dvd, the majority of the movie is pretty shit but that end fight sequence when both the boys and girls team up to fight the bad guys, wow, jaw dropping stuff. no body uses the hung gar (3 section staff) better than jet, check out the end fight of fearless, he uses it so amazingly well!

I bought:
The Vacation Box Set - really cheap and their quite funny movies.
Matrix special edition - Replaced the vhs i had lol
Jarhead/Three Kings DVD - Well for $3 extra dollars i got Jarhead with it, yet to see Jarhead but havent heard much rave about it but i bought it because Three Kings is a great War movie with the Ice Cube in it.

Also got Saints Row for the XBOX 360 and it is the shit. Like GTA but better graphics more realistic and heaps of fun

DOA looks really bad guys. It's cool because it has Devon Aoki with a samurai sword but besides that..

I bought Clerks X from the US, it's the 10th anniversary edition and comes with two versions of the film (theatrical version and original, uncut and extended version(which is the way to go)) and a 3rd disc full of hours of extras including a secret episode from the Clerks cartoon series. It's so awesome.

Yea it was a short lived tv series from the '70's and is what the Naked Gun movies are based on. It's basically where all the jokes came from. It's so good.
