Luke went off injured but Melbourne have been destructive. Could see 80 points tonight. Ouch.

Luke went off injured but Melbourne have been destructive. Could see 80 points tonight. Ouch.
Johnson, Luke, Tohu Harris, Kata, Pulu, Gavet, Beale, Roache (our gun back up hooker), Paasi carrying an injury, Papali'i just back from an MCL, Sao just back from injury playing ISP. All of those would be in the 17 or very, very close. Hurts more this week due to a 4 day turnaround and an overseas trip.
It makes our start this year much more remarkable. Especially when you consider the Dragons have a full squad.
Storm too good tonight. They are electric, and our edges have the bandaids falling off.
Still, I have been very, very excited about this game in the lead-up...

Wrong thread. Whoops.
Her looks the goods alright.
However under Bennett it will take a couple of years before he sees any decent game time.
I dont really know why but Bennett is reluctant to let the young kids loose in the forwards and always develops the slowly.

It’s all to do with physical development. An 18 year old’s muscles can’t handle the impact of week to week NRL in the middle. He basically does it to condition them. That’s why very few forwards start careers at 18, let alone hold form for long periods of time.

Don’t know what hurts manly more, DCE miss weeks or the back flip they have to do in recalling Hastings?
